Getting me pumped.

Still don't understand the graphics debate the game looks fine, it could look like real life and people would still complain.

Yup. I just played FO3 on PS3 and the graphics there didn't bother me. And this looks so much better.

Fucking HYPE. This game is coming to save me from the abuse I'm suffering at the hands of bungie and their inane decisions. Can't wait to get back in dat wasteland!!

You know I'm beginning to think that the people who say that all Fallout is to Bethesda is shooting shit to old music playing are right.

What do you do in this game? Is it procedural open world or more like metro 2033?

Neither. Hand crafted open world game, set in Boston this time around. Watch the E3 reveal to get an idea of it and videos of Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Or Skyrim since that's theirs as well and they operate more or less the same in general layout.

What's the best deal for the PC pre-order + Season Pass?

So far not seeing any amazing deals out there

Don't know if it's still up, but Greenman Gaming had a 23% off deal out for a while. Game and Season Pass came out to just $70.

Edit: Looks like they still have a 20% off voucher up worth checking out.

Great trailer. Spoils nothing and gets me really excited. I'm glad I have wasteland 2 now to distract me because very few games are going to at this point (so excited I don't want to play anything but fallout 4 so that speaks of how well I'm liking wasteland so far.

Yeah, I was hoping for something in the $60 range with the Season Pass but with that $30 price tag that's probably not going to happen.

At least with GMG I know that deal will probably exist for a while and I can last minute it if I need to.

Haven't been hyped for this since the reveal but that'a a fantastic trailer. Too bad the game looks nothing like that.

Yeah, well, don't. Because as usual, those people couldn't be more wrong.

It's a one-minute trailer, meant for the masses; they're not going to show off the game's technical elements there.

Elongated exploration , moral choices, and kooky dialogue choices aren't really great trailer fodder. The Witcher 3 trailer was exactly the same thing.

Nice trailer, really don't need to see more. I would like a character creator ahead of launch, (remember Saints row), so when the game launches I wont have to spend the first 3 hours with the character.

After the absolute bungling of MGSV's pre-release info and story coverage, Bethesda's more subtle approach to their marketing campaign is a real breath of fresh air to me.

-announce the game with a release date, some basic info, and a surprising amount of real gameplay

-drip release a series of animated videos that are entertaining and inform the players about the character systems

-release a well produced live-action trailer that also serves as a TV spot

-probably some slowly escalating coverage closer to release

-Fallout 4 is in people's hands

all within a year. Pretty smart.

Not crazy about live action trailers, but this was well done.

It's now so close when last year there were only hopes and rumors. As a fan, I don't want years of teasers, drip-fed news, leaks, etc., just give me a couple months of heads up and I'm there.

Is this the rumoured thing DelToros company was supposed to be making that leaked in the run up to E3 or was that just BS and this is unrelated?

One of only 3 games I've ever pre-ordered. I don't care if it's a buggy mess I just need it now. Looking forward to exploring that huge city at the end
