Excluding imax, every theater is the same size around here. Same as the ones I've been to in other states. Like just standard ass sized screens.You... Didn't know that here are different sized theatre screens?

The buzz droids never made much sense to me. The enemy shoots a missile at Anakin. It explodes right next to his ship and buzz droids come out of it. They start messing with his controls and almost cause him to crash. But if the whole point of the buzz droids is to disable and destroy enemy vehicles, any not just use normal missiles? The one that nearly hit Anakin probably would have destroyed the ship if it were a normal explosive.
Not gonna lie, I was that that dude who liked Young Indiana Jones as a teen

The Super Battle Droids in Republic Commando were ludicrously tough. Almost to the point of comedy. Fuck Super Battle Droid Dispensers, those were the worst. The Super Battle Droids were kinda sorta like that in Republic Commando.
Because the Buzz Droid missiles don't have to actually hit the target. Also, they can do more precise damage than a missile since the Buzz Droids can target specific parts of the hull. Throw a missile at a big ship and it hurts. Throw a bunch of Buzz Droids and they can potentially take out the entire ship. The buzz droids never made much sense to me. I watched it yesterday. The opening shot is fucking amazing, where Anakin and Obi-Wan fly in formation past the Star Destroyer and it pans down to show this colossal battle. Possibly my favourite opening shot of any of the movies, up there with the Star Destroyer flying past the camera in the first one. But spending the rest of that battle on them trying to get the stupid little droids off their ships is such a waste. Give us an awesome dogfight if you want tension on the way to Grievous' ship.
If we're gonna ask why the Star Wars universe uses little droids as weapons, we might as well ask why people programmed the translator droids to be as annoying as humanly possible.

$300m OW confirmed
Spielberg pre-viz'd the Lightsaber battle at the end.
That guy just kept going at it. Glad someone got him the super-hi res versions with the multichannel soundtracks split out. It does sound a LOT cleaner.
(Sucks that YouTube wont' let you swap out videos under the same URL, though. This one's probably just gonna get lost in the sauce, and his first attempt's the one everyone finds and shares)
Noticed this in the Box-Office thread, but it looks like if you took the single-day sales of Force Awakens (Monday night-Tuesday night) and compared them to this weekend's rankings, the film would place somewhere around 4th or 5th.
Two months out, one day of sales, and it's beating the majority of the weekend top 10.
For anyone that wanted a cut of the trailer music, this is the absolute best version out there.

Hondo Ohnaka's symbol appearing warms my heart. So it seems that some people have been able to decipher where some of the flags originated from that were seen in the latest trailer. It's our first dosage of references to prequel material in the new trilogy, I guess.

Not the first. There were podracer engines in the first teaser.
If JJ can keep the references to background imagery like this and not "KHAN" type garbage, then we might be in good shape.
It certainly resembled one, but it could just as easily have been an engine that was part of some other ship that just happened to look like it belonged to a pod racer. The flags on the other hand are pretty definitive.
Just watched that Grevious chase/Obiwan fight... man that is just awful.. and that's in the 'best' prequel movie. I remember thinking it was kind of cool when it came out but it's just so fake...
As for Kylo's saber... (I know beating a dead horse here) imo he is trying to come off as tougher than he actually is... so he is using the most badass/fiery looking lightsaber... maybe it is an old Sith artifact so he feels it makes him more important. Same goes for his helmet/mask. He probably doesn't need it to breathe... Just wants to look evil.

This isnt a spoiler insofar as its been said a few times by JJ in interviews, but in regards to his lightsaber (if you are interested)
He made it, its meant to reflect how volatile he is and how difficult it would be to build a lightsaber by yourself, the lightsaber and Kylo go hand in hand
That's pretty interesting. It reminds me how in his ROTS review, Plinkett mentioned that he assumed the Jedi built their own lightsabers as a rite of passage, as opposed to being mass produced.

Is it fact that you have to be at least a force sensitive to build a saber? Like, not any joe shmoe could make one?

No Force sensitivity required. The expert who teaches new Jedi how to build their own lightsaber is actually a droid. Is it fact that you have to be at least a force sensitive to build a saber? Like, not any joe shmoe could make one?
Huh, I didn't realize this. I guess Huyang is just that precise.Yes, the novel Heir to the Jedi confirms this. The focusing crystal inside has to be balanced with the Force to be stabilized properly. I mean I guess you could do it if you had extremely high tech machinery but your average person couldn't do it otherwise. Every time we've seen someone build a lightsaber it's been by meditating to fit the parts together cleanly.

But, unless you know what you're doing, you could very easily accidentally create a bomb instead of a usable lightsaber.

It should be stated heir to the jedi is not canon though

BUT as an established principle, i think it probably will be the case going forward
Handling a lightsaber on the other hand, anyone can do that.
