Just an FYI for those who have a Star Wars Battlefront pre-order through FS. Apparently there is "some sort of delay" on it which could be due to "a manufacturer shortage" or something of the like. The Best Buy CSR that I spoke with said that she didn't have any other information. She suggested that I could try popping into a BB store and showing them the order # and they may be able to give me the price on one of their stock but it's not guaranteed. Not sure if this applies to BB pre-orders as well - maybe someone could chime in who has one?
Oh well, I'll probably just wait a couple of days to see what happens. Not a biggie as I'm getting the game for $39.99. I don't mind holding out for a few days.

Well this news is rather disappointing to hear considering Best Buy had a similar delay that happened with Yoshi's Wooly World...Hopefully we still get it this week.
I look forward to the complaints if it's delayed two weeks like Yoshi.

Based on the impressions thread, I probably dont even want this game anymore.
Just buy it in store at retail and return your $40 copy (with your retail price receipt) when it arrives.
I happily canceled mine. Battlefield 4 still scratches my MP itch anyway.

Considering all of the horror stories pre-election that a change in government would result in the dollar plummeting, frankly, I'm thrilled that it has only dropped to 74.88 cents US.
We're now getting a bargain only paying $79.99 for games that retail $20 less in the States... but I have to wonder how long that will last if the dollar eases its way even lower.
Yeah I'm probably going to return it to store.

Traded in broken disc drive one at eb. They didn't check. Got the elite and gift card and cod that I will hopefully drop on kijiji for 60

My feeling as well. I think Battlefront will be a nice break from Fallout from time to time. Plus I really want to get hyped up for The Force Awakens and this could should scratch that Star Wars itch.
I'm waiting to get it from a Canadian retailer too. I'm not crazy, or desperate enough to order from a US site 'just in case' though.

Based on a post in the Gravity Rush topic (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=185684870&postcount=278), it looks like the physical copy of the Gravity Rush: Remaster may be an Amazon exclusive.
Hopefully it's not one of those Amazon.com exclusives that Amazon.ca wont get.

It's hard to gauge when it'll show up. Maybe today, maybe a week, a month. All I can really do is ask reps or check the pages (amazon, Best Buy, EB Games) every now and again and hope it shows up.

I know it'll happen when I'm especially busy. I wasn't around for Awakening's release but I remember hearing how stock issues weren't optimal. I walked into a Best Buy with some friends looking for some things, we tried a Ni no Kuni demo and I saw Awakening just sitting there so I grabbed it.
That was in May though, so if it happens again I wonder how amazon will do after defaulting everyone to Birthright lol

I like how the Amazon page for Xenoblade Chronicles for 3DS makes it look like it's just a 3DS version of the Wii U game. There's bound to be at least one uninformed customer that gets screwed on that this christmas.

I'm gonna hold out for the empty hope that Guitar Hero Live and AC Syndicate will get 'decent' sale prices. By decent I mean at least invalidating the additional tax on the games (so 10% off now lol)

I have good news for you, at least regarding AC. 4 of the 5 last Black Fridays have had a $10 discount on the game. And that is bound to be more than 10%.
Seeing as game prices are now higher, and game sales are undoubtedly lower, chances of it going on a similar or better discount are quite good.

Is this telling of the economy or some shit? Seriously they can't honor that price even though the controllers cost like $5 to make in some factory.
