Yes! First time in 30+ deliveries that didn't come home, was told to pick up last week. Maybe too much xmas related volume to deliver home.

From what I've seen, and can remember, it's usually random. Sometimes we get pre-orders early (Digimon Cyber Sleuth), some at the same time or within a few hours, and them some at some point between now and before the game release.

The Twilight Princess, Life is Strange and Gravity Rush Remaster seem to be taking forever.

You can show it to them on your phone, that's how I've been doing it the last few years. They just need to type in the barcode.

Yup. I think it depends on the truck route and where it's going. We occasionally get a package notice for this one post office that's still in the city, but pretty far out, even though there are others that are a lot closer.

(Once there was an attempted delivery of six packages at once (BB packaged everything from two orders into their own, seperate bubble envelopes... even though they shipped out together) and we were told to pick up five of them at our usuall post office, but one ended up at the far, out of the way one)

Stella Glow shipped earlier for me, it's on it's way for delivery tomorrow. Crazy how I got with the E3 discount and still ended up paying $60.

EDIT: Just looked up the price and the game costs $59.99 without taxes. That'd be $68 or something like that. Guess I had a bit of a discount there?
 
Amazon needs to put up CEs for Final Fantasy Explorers and Fire Emblem. They need to also put up Twilight Princess amiibo pack

A package from BB. Does anyone know what's going on here? This hasn't happened to me before. It's not even a new address, or account, or anything :/

For something that shipped out from half an hour away, it sure is convoluted. Not even just this one, they also delayed a package from Amazon on Friday (which was "attempted delivery" today, even though there was no pick up card in sight), but the odd thing is that they delivered another package from BB on Thursday (the 12th), so it's not like they're not in the area. (Where they're holding it isn't even that far!)

I called BB last week to update my CC for Battlefront, they said they put it in the system and all was good, just got an e-mail that they couldn't process my payment metod *facepalm*

So my laptop, from 6 years of use, finally died on me. I think it was the motherboard. Kept turning off randomly. Now it wont even turn on. Would it be cheaper to get something new or try and get it repaired?

If you got 6 years out of a laptop, I'd consider that pretty damn impressive. I'm sitting at 4 1/2 years on my current one and was expecting to have to replace it long before now.

It's a 6 year old laptop. I'd be surprised if someone will have the parts for it. Get a new one for it'll be more cheaper and reliable.
 
Yeah, there's no way it'd be cheaper to repair, especially if it's a motherboard issue.

You can basically buy a 500 dollar laptop that you throw away after a couple of years these days. That seems to be how long they're expected to last anyway.

I paid $42 for Stella Glow with the E3 discount and taxes included. mine was at 53.99 tho. you doing some wonky math?

Any idea what's good for $500? I'd like to have something in the 13 inch range. Something for school and entertainment.
 
I mean, I loved Stella Glow (gave it a 9/10 when I reviewed it), but given Atlus's... proclivities I would have a hard time recommending at $50.

$67 like they've got for the diigtal version is highway f**king robbery, though.

Good thing I got it for 35$ all said and done. I really enjoyed the demo, but the original price is steep.

How often do you guys use the satisfaction guarantee? Do they look down upon you if you use it, say, several times a year?

EB doesn't black list, does it?

(Just curious, as I'm considering it and wouldn't abuse it but want to know)
 
Bloodborne is $20 at Pharmaprix/SDM. I picked it up and I'm having a blast even though I couldn't really get into Dark Souls.

Maybe it had to do with me deleting some of the orders that I grouped up together from E3? Idk I was expecting a better discount... Either that or the stuff that I already got, had the most discount. I remember paying way less for Danganronpa, which was in the same order as this. I mean I still got a discount, but it seems so minimal compared to other stuff I got.

You didn't get any E3 discount on that order. You should see a Promotion Applied: -16.20$ (30%) if you did.

The FF one is exclusive to the SE store. Game is apparently rotten garbage anyway. For the rest I think you have to blame Nintendo of Canada. If even the independent retailers like VG+ won't let you preorder yet, it means they haven't received info about it or if it's going to be available at all.

That's a low-end processor. Get at least an i3; for $500 you can get an i5 on sale. Good news is that Black Friday and laptops will be on sale.

Got Stella Glow today in a bubble mailer. Box was crushed, again. This has happened 4x now. Each time I ask them to ship boxed items in a box, and they say they will, but they don't. Can't access my orders now for some reason, but I'll definitely be getting in contact with them to have this fixed.
 
Hmm I'm wondering what is the chance of i5-6600k CPU will go on sale during black friday/boxing day. It's price has been going up since release ;_;

For anyone in Toronto, I noticed that Game Mania carries import games but at a high price. Theatrythm Dragon Quest for $65-$70.

They had a few others including Final Fantasy Explorers.
 
Man, Canada Post has been garbage here in Toronto lately for some reason.

Use to always get my packages on time. The past month or two though? Never on time. I have priority shipping on Star Wars, it shipped Monday morning, and it's not even out for delivery right now.

I think some of that can be contributed to Christmas rush. Yours sounds like it got lost somewhere though.

I wouldn't expect packages to arrive on time, despite what you pay for, around this season.
