I went to BB today and Project Mirai did not scan at that price.

Does the cashier have to press total first?

Hm, I reserved Miku and it showed full price, but I'll mention there's supposed to be a discount on it when I go in.

Best Buy price matches don't they? Got any receipts HoL? I'm sure they'd price match themselves.

It kinda seems to me after seeing it listed at MSRP online that Mirai clearance price was a YMMV thing. Good luck though!
 
Wow, got me all excited and now I probably have to spend an hour getting to my nearest Best Buy. 2 weeks till Xenoblade, will just attack my backlog.

Game and amiibo bundles have been getting split up a while after release (ie. Chibi Robo, Animal Crossing might remove Digby soon, Yoshi Woolly World now has Green Yoshi separate). So assume the same.

I don't think there's anything to worry about. Yoshi I know for certain had game-only versions at launch, and I saw amibo-less versions of Chibi-Robo at BB pretty soon after release.

Honestly, I've seriously thought of that for amiibo, as much as we'd have hated that, Nintendo could've doubled their revenue alone doing that, but how high can you go before it's so high that enough people get turned off?
 
Amiibo are already wayy overpriced trinkets.

That's said my wide bought those 3 new ones today. Has all but 8 of em I think in the smash line up

I'm beginning to think when Best Buy said that they would have the Fire Emblem SE on their site today, they meant the split Fire Emblem titles [Birthright/Conquest], and not the SE itself. :(

Worried they'll charge me if I opened it and played it and it's not actually free.

I was going to cancel it anyways, so if they want me to return it then that would be fine.

Since you guys said 'you got free game' I actually feel like it it's free lol.

If Nintendo had actually supplied enough stock to meet demand from the get-go then it could have already single-handedly funded the NX.
 
It's getting to the point where I just keep adding both versions to the cart hoping that some kind of magic will happen and the SE will show up in their place.

It seems the conquest edition disappeared on best buy website. Now there is only birthright and the placeholder version.

They're teasing us. They know we're watching. Either way, as for me, I still have my Amazon preorders so I'll have at least one Fire Emblem Fates game discounted....
 
I'm heading to bed.

Chances are when I wake up, the SE will be sold out.

I'll either keep my Gamestop.com order, or just go for Conquest at that point.
