Thanks for the headups about adding games to existing pre-order on Amazon. Was able to add one game to my orders of Twilight Princess HD and Xenoblades X CE to get the promotion to show up on that order.

The best about getting the promotion and not a price adjustment is if TPHD drops to 79.99$, then the 30% off will be applied to 79.99$ instead of the staying at 70.00$!

Here is what I went with when I started the chat: Hello Amazon support! I would like to know if you could add item : [1 Item in promo] to Order# [Numbers] such that I could benefit from the current 30% off pre-order promotions?
 
Looks like the CE eidition of Overwatch doesn't qualify for the 30% :(

Edit : On amazon that is, it does on BB but they're assholes about shipping it to QC

... well, shit. I cancelled my TPHD and rebooked on Best Buy. Whoops.
 
Got the Overwatch CE, and reordered Twilight Princess HD to save ten bucks on that.

Was considering the Legion CE, but I'm already behind on two WoW CEs as it is, so I'll just get the digital version of that.

Surprisingly low amount of stuff I wanted to preorder.

Yeah, between the E3 pre-orders and the lack of games up on either Amazon or Best Buy (Gravity Rush Remastered/2, Gran Turismo Sport, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided PC, Fire Emblem Fates LE, etc.) there actually isn't that much new to pre-order.

Amazon is telling me I can't combine the order (Twilight Princess HD) because it's Unavailable, even though I already have a TPHD CE order. =/
 
So if I order a bunch of stuff together on Amazon that doesn't have a release date yet, will they still ship individually if I use free shipping? I've had some mixed results with that in the past. Had to bug reps to ship me my copy of Danganronpa AE when it came out in one order, but in another order they shipped me Rodea right away. I'm wondering since I want to make an order with a bunch of titles that don't have a release date yet (FFXV, Last Guardian, etc).

I used to go bestbuy, but you guys say amazon cancels orders easier and prices can drop.

Bestbuy was never early on shipping either so i dont care about that.

I'm gonna leave this and try again later with a different rep.

Edit: And then the rep asked if I wanted to cancel my TP HD order, so I had to go "No, please don't"

I placed most of my pre-orders with Amazon, but remember that shipping WILL suck and you should expect it to suck and don't be surprised when it sucks. I've been keeping track of all my pre-orders over the past few years and the average number of days it takes for me to receive a game after its release date is just over 5 days. I live in downtown Toronto.

Remember, Amazon's shipping SUCKS. Everything else is great but THEIR SHIPPING SUCKS.

(edit: just emphasizing for everyone's benefit, the ridiculous repetition of my main point isn't aimed at Haines specifically!)
 
I basically went off again on Amazon. Anything I even THOUGHT about buying I pre-ordered. Even though I got a lot, they split my order into 2, looks like 6 items each. So far it's:

Neptunia VII
Odin Sphere SE
Makai Trillion
Kingdom Hearts 2.8
Quantum Break
Mafia 3
Nitroplus Blazterz

Resident Evil Origin Collection
Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator

Gonna get DQ7 and DQ8 plus FE:F Conquests on BB now
 
On Best Buy's site, I can add the first item to my cart without issue, but as soon as something is in there, any other product page gives me an infinite loading (spinny wheel thing) over the order button, so I can't take advantage of this deal :/

Not the best solution, but try that "compare" feature, it usually let's you add more than one item to the cart at once using tick boxes. Don't ask me how to get the compare thing up I don't remember and an not at a computer

My Xbox Elite Controller order on Microsoft's website (ordered on November 18th) says it ships by November 30th (today) but nothings happened, I guess I can expect it to get pushed back again?

Has anyone in a similar situation received there's or a shipping notice?
 
Guys... I was wondering... am I the only one who has issues with my orders on Bestbuy.ca? I can't seem to find any of my previous pre-orders I've made since June 2015 (E3). Also, I can't find any of my usual shipping and billing information, nor the orders I've made in the past 6 months.

I have this same problem. I can't see any of my orders on my BB account anymore. I only have one active one left, but in order to find it, I have to search via Order Number, rather than my account.
 
It was a bust for me after 15 minutes of talk for Zelda at Amazon... Not sure I want to waste more time on this today...

Edit: checked my order and it worked haha. Even if he said it did not.

15 games and 900 bucks later. Tho most are just in case. I have no idea if i will need stuff like recore or sea of thieves day 1
 
Is Street Fighter V for PC not being sold physically? I'd love to take advantage of these preorder deals but I'm not seeing it listed anywhere.

The site can be a bit late to update. Wait for the emails. On that note, they sent me a tracking number like 3 days in advance of it showing up in the FedEx system.

Was ultra fast.
 
Well I preordered Dragon Quest VII and VIII on Bestbuy and I preordered Star Fox Zero and FE Conquest on Amazon. I actually already had a 15% off order on Star Fox already, but I'm going to keep it until closer to release. If by some miracle Canada gets the FE Special Edition then I'll want to cancel my Conquest and Star Fox with it and then keep the 15% order, but if that doesn't happen I'll cancel my original 15% order.
 
So is there a way to list all the 2016 release games that are listed for Dec 31 because they don't have a real date? I'm sure there are games that I'm missing that I can't think of at the moment.
 
If you're concerned about shipping, just pay the extra couple bucks per game for express or standard. Chances are if you are in the GTA, it will arrive day one or day two at the latest. That was my experience over the past couple of years. And if it ever arrives late, i suspect they will refund the shipping cost if you ask.
 
Man, I would prefer using BestBuy for pre-orders but their site isn't even letting me order anything. I got the two DQ's into my cart but anything else freezes the checkout.
 
I took advantage of the BB 30% Off Pre-Orders deal. JC3 Day One Edition coming to me on Thursday and UC4 in March. Not bad for $102 + tax.
