Snyder is consistent like that. I do like that Superman's action have this weird look to them. They should due to the speed he moves at. That shot should be the point of view of Batman and it should be blurry a little considering the speed and force Superman flew down with.
I was expecting him to burn the cowl with his heat vision though.

Eyes and chin are on point. Cowl is perfect.
He can actually look sideways without turning his whole body. That's something, I guess.

The CGI supes landing and his "mad dog" face look shitty (But HEY, I thought the fighting in MoS looked like a boring QTE in a video game so clearly I'm not a fan of his vision for how Super Man's powers are realized on film. I liked the action in Sucker Punch though so I assume he can do better ...).

Well, no offense to Cavill but Affleck is the better actor so that would be par for the course. I'd be worried if Cavill out acted Affleck. (also Jesse is probably the most talented actor in that movie)

Man what the fuck. I've seen better reception to the PAN trailers on here than this 50 second out of context clip that actually looks good.

Battfleck looked both angry and kinda scared at the same time. Given the fact that it's probably a dream, from Bruces perspective Superman is probably very evil (they don't know each other) and that is how he is portrayed in his dream. Kinda over the top and all of that.

Anyway, scene was cool. Agreed that Cavill's angry face is less than totally menacing, but hey, he's Evil Superman. Dude doesn't have to do subtle to be scary. Affleck is looking like he's gonna knock it out of the park. Thought the landing CGI looked fine. Good, even.
As for the "why isn't he just using xray vision/burning it off... if this really is (as all indications seem to point towards) Bruce's nightmare, he wouldn't. He'd be unmasked. Because that's what he's scared of, as much as he's scared of anything. It's what he's been freaked out for years over, X-ray vision and lasereyes mask burning don't hold the same punch (though I do expect the scene to end with a PoV shot of the heat vision starting).
