Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta stream today

Also, I wouldn't worry about there not being a Classic Playlist. ND would be pretty freaking retarded to not have one at launch with how much demand it got in UC3 -- they had a hardcore mode in UC3 at launch as an "answer" to purists but it wasn't the right stuff. They're just not talking about other playlists right now because we're still pretty far away from March.
 
Also, Uncharted MP is not as cartoony as people claim it to be.

Sure, it's not as realistic as BF, but it's also not as cartoony as Splatoon either.

When you see the Mystics in Motion , it looks a bit more cartoony. I honestly don't like the idea at all but whatever.

It just seems to contrast so much from the smooth animation and amazing models that strive for a sense of realism.

The mysticals will live or die by balancing.

That dagger seems like an automatic kill machine. Not sure I like the area of effect for this that big. A much smaller one should be less OP. Seems like he can do little in such a slowed down state from that pov. He can shoot, and throw stuff but by the time he does he's dead meat.

Imagine if you happen to throw that dagger into a group of enemies. Makes El Dorado look like a joke mystical (and it's actually very useful the way they explain it - makes sense).

Staff must be cheap I guess...better be cheap, otherwise no one will buy it other than a pro-team.
 
Looked pretty good. I've been playing all of my games on Xbox this year because of all the exclusives that were coming out for it, but it looks like 2016 is gonna be a PS4 year for me.

Mysticals are fantasy elements from the Campaign, so they can't look realistic by definition.

Just rent it from Redbox. What's the big deal here?
 
Gameplay looks really fun and the animation quality looks fantastic, hopefully some direct feed footage becomes available of this, somehow (unlikely though).
 
Really excited for this game. The aiming looks like it needs some work and the framerate looked dodgy (maybe the stream?) in places, but man I love me some uncharted
 
I think it looks a little too fast. Looks a bit corny.

We'll see.
 
The load out system looks really good, the breadth and variety there is welcome. I like that you can just completely ignore the sidekicks/mysticals. Primary shotgun is a bit concerning.

The time to down looked pretty quick, closer to TLOU down times rather than previous Uncharted kill times. I get that they have the downed state, but you aren't exactly playing when you're downed. I'm an advocate of higher health because it makes outplays more possible.

Radar still seems utterly pointless, and now the accompanying radar pinging mystical to go with it. The design philosophy on that seems to be that it helps out newbie players, or that it fosters teamwork, and that's just incorrect. You either pay attention to what's going around you or you don't, and you either play as a team or you don't. Radar exists despite of the fact you can see the entire enemy team rope swinging at you across the map within 5 seconds of the match starting. And you'll only show up on the radar when you shoot. What is that suppose to accomplish? I mean you show up pretty gloriously on the screen when you shoot too, the bullet tracers aren't exactly subtle, there's no silencers or flash muzzlers to speak of. Hopefully they have an option to disable individual HUD elements, since it's little more than screen clutter to a lot of people.

TDM looks bland, with only map stakes being treasure spawns. I still feel like they could lower the loadout points by 5 and just have power weapons spawn on the map, but yeah. Team Objective/Plunder is where it'll be at.

I also have no issues with the in-game "store" now, since it's actually just radial skill menu that looks fairly intuitive.

Gameplay wise it looks really strong.
