and my ass has to wait until Friday night lol. but honestly after like tomorrow or even Wednesday I'll probably very rarely look at this thread and I'll most likely be avoiding twitter in a big way. I already can't wait for the end of the week.
I'm definitely bringing some headphones and watching some youtube videos to help pass the time.

Bought my tickets yesterday for Saturday at 12:30 PM. I'm pretty fricken excited right now. I know it's not opening day, but opening weekend should be good enough.
Surprised to see so many people saying they've got tickets with unreserved seating. I'm seeing it at a small indepedent cinema in my city on Wednesday Night and even they have seat reservations. Got mine smack in the middle.

If there's no assigned seating you have to wait in a line to get your preferred seats, especially annoying if you're going to see it with other people.
This. I selected our seats when I bought tickets so we don't have to worry about that.
If you don't have assigned seats I would get there a few hours early. I saw episode 1 on opening day and we end up in the front row. I didn't really see the movie until it was released on DVD.
My theater doesn't do reserve seating. I got my tickets the day they went up so I'd have it. Now I just have to go there and show them the email so I get it.

if you're this worried just buy reserved seating (Assuming it's available where you live).

Got my tickets! Sunday at 11pm. There are screenings at 6am and 2:30am this week, and they're all sold out. So crazy.

Got my tickets for Saturday at 1030, reserved seating at an XPlus screen. Everything before that was sold out. Curious to find out how much this makes over the weekend. From me just trying to reserve tickets it feels like its going to meet expectations of not surpass them.
Like I know that Collider Video is going to be recording a Non-spoiler review tonight. With a Spoiler review happening on Friday.

Honestly it's been one of those weird experiences, like I watched the VERY VERY VERY first teaser one which was like all of 2 seconds long, then made a pact to myself to just not do it, it's been a bit of a journey, the internet seems weird as I have literally a lot of it missing haha, But I'm nearly here, just yesterday i dived out of the living room as one came on the TV I saw an x wing that was it, so I will be dodging TV for the next few days as I really don't want any of it spoiled now.
Super hyped, my friends who've seen the trailers are like fuck man you gotta see it, I just reply with "well the hype/reaction you have now, I'll have that in the cinema."

I've only watched the official trailers and TV spots for TFA. Haven't dug deeper than that.
I remember the hype for episode III... I saw every magazine scan, every leaked picture, every leaked clip... I even bought the episode III video game because they had new clips of the film included with the game. This was pre youtube!

I got tickets bought for Wednesday but i've got infected tooth and (had) high fever as a result, and terrible pain that painkillers can barely contain (as a result, i haven't slept almost at all for the last two nights). I got antibiotics and hopefully they will help quickly so that by Wednesday i'm in reasonable condition.
How fucking inconvenient timing for the tooth get infected.
Fortunately i haven't got anything to do this week so i can just rest. (And i'm spending time by watching the OT again.)

Just a heads up but more images from the Visual Dictionary are cropping up over social media with Kylo Ren and his lightsaber being posted.
No major spoilers for him as the book keeps his info pretty vague so if you stumble across it, it won't be too bad but the lightsaber part is especially cool because of a non-spoiler expanded lore for it and what seems like a reference to a certain BioWare game..maybe..lol
I'll post it below and again theres no movie spoilers, just some cool lore behind the design of Ren's saber but I'll have to consult GAF's Lore Expert to know more. lol

The book mentions the design of Kylo Ren's lightsaber is ancient dating back thousands of years to The Great Scourge of Malachor. Malachor was first mentioned and featured in KOTOR 1&2...I haven't played KOTOR 2 since it was released but I think that was the wrecked planet you go to at the end and also had some lore around it involving Revan.
