Might be a good idea to make a twitter reactions thread or something similar with a "possible spoilers" warning in the title. I mean, nobody at tonight's premiere is going to spoil the movie but all the ensuing discussion on twitter will be a minefield for those wishing to stay unspoiled.
tbh these red carpet events look like waking nightmares, especially if you're in the movie.One silver lining is that none of us will have to deal with a crowd as drunk or boisterous as tonight's premiere.

LOL. Ya know, I really loved that scene in ROTS. Just watched it the other day. IMO Anakins descent into the dark side from this point on to where he basically becomes Vader I thought were the best scenes in the prequels.
There's the comic Shattered Empire. It's not particularly a good one though.
Haven't read Aftermath but there's that I guess.

Lost Stars is great but that's more interesting for smoothing out the state of the galaxy throughout the OT (in terms of the new canon) more than setting up TFA, outside of explaining the Battle of Jakku.

I can't go in there thinking like that and I can't go in there immediately trying to compare it to other movies in the series. I think that's what many will do on their first viewing. Just go in there and have fun.
For real, I've seen Oscar's and Carrie's interview bit like five times now and it's still hysterical. Those two need to do more stuff together, especially when alcohol is involved.
