Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Thread: Everyone wants it, no one uses it

Pleased to see Spelunky and Peggle 1 in that list. I didn't expect to see either of them, particularly Peggle 1 as I thought that would be a game Popcap end up re-releasing down the line.
 
So yea Halo: Reach needs a hell of alot more optimization. Framerate is pretty trash. Hopefully MS keeps working on improving it though cause the game is fun as hell to play still.

If it runs like trash, why even include it? I guess they just want another bullet point to move more XB1's. Between this and Gears 3, this has been incredibly disapointing

That really annoys me, I got really excited just to be really disappointed.

I'm still hoping for a 60fps port to the Master Chief Collection at some point. I really like Reach but I've been spoiled with 60fps Halo on Xbox One and I can't go back!

Yea perfect scenario we'll be lucky to get it on par with 360 eventually. However realistically I expect it to max out at about 80 to 85 percent of the 360 running it natively. Right now I'd saying it's running probably 50 to 60 percent tops.

So I just played Reach and...man this is bad. personally,i'm not that sensitive to
frame-rate,screen tear etc..but this is bad. unplayable for me.
 
While I'm waiting for Halo 5 to patch, I booted up Mass Effect to finish up my playthrough. Turns out there's an update for that game too. About 500MB. I also tried booting up Banjo Kazooie, but it had an error. Seems like Xbox Live is having some issues at the moment.

Sorry if that has been talked about, but I just noticed that December was finally updated with more BC title, and holy shit. Fuckin Microsoft.

Am I the only person who thought when they had the coming soon section on the xbox website, and it showed titles like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Bioshock 1 and 2, Skate 3...etc... Am I the only person who thought that these games were supposed to be part of the December update?

I thought they might not half ass this BC thing, but looks like I was wrong. It's not that I personally cared about all those titles being playable in December, but if they were made available, it made me feel like once they got those out of the way, they could focus on giving us new titles to look forward to. Instead, they're gonna trickle out those games, and stuff that people are actually waiting for...who the hell knows when we'll see them. Such bull shit. Just give me a reason to not have an xbox 360 hooked up anymore.

Ok what is this shit?

I'm in Germany and I own Halo Wars and Soulcalibur 2 HD. Why can't I download these games?

EDIT: I'm slow, the original list was wrong.

I've tried the folowing games:

- Hydro Thunder runs fine, framerate seems better than 360. I have to check that again.

- Halo Reach: Terrible framerate, runs much worse than on the 360.

- Splosion Man: Bad framerate in menus, gameplay seems fine.

- Motocross Madness: Didn't notice any differences compared to the 360 version.

PS. i'm so excited to be able to play kane and lynch 2 again!!! :/ i was expecting 30-50 game updates every month or something, not 16. at this rate the gen will be over before they could even get all the games working.
