Halo Reach Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Frame Rate Test
Both versions definitely dip a lot, with 360 holding 30 better.
Can't remember that it dipped that crazy on my XboxOne when I played the singleplayer for an hour. External drive here.

Maybe it would have been better to limit BC to Arcade games.
I do think they will improve Reach, but why even release it in the first place. I wan't to play a game how it was released (or better), but not worry about if I'm playing an "inferior" version. Games not running 1:1 as on the 360 (at least 98%) makes the BC feature useless to me because I have to keep my 360 hooked up to play a game how it was intended to experienced.
Those aren't fps drops based on drive speed.
What happened with Black Ops coming this month?
Offering Backwards Compatibility was such a genius idea by MS, too bad the execution has been a fucking mess since day one. Personally, I won't buy a freaking game until I can buy it directly from my XB1. I don't get how something as simple as that can be so damn difficult to implement.
Because it doesn't bother some people.
And those it does bother can choose not to play it.

This somehow reminds me of
Oh well, guess I will just play PS4 and rebuy an Xbox One for Encore and patched BC in a couple of years. I'm quiet now![]()

so it seems The Missing Link DLC isn't showing up for Deus Ex. Which is the thing I needed to finish (got screwed on an achievement where I did everything right but it bugged)
I assume you can buy it from Xbox.com on your browser on your Xbox One. Sounds like another excuse for something you were never going to buy anyway.
Reach still $25. Come on MS. Put that shit on sale.

Reach was free in games with gold...
I just started Halo Reach and there was an almost 1 gig update.
Now the game is vastly improved.
I do feel there is a slight input lag however the multiplayer portion is running quiet well.
Looks to run fine from this video. The sale is already live though, $4.94 for Gold Membersanyone know how portal runs? looking to get that at tommorows sale

To go along with this, I saw someone mention that Ms has "soft launched" the ability to purchase 360 titles in the XB1 store in HK currently. Any truth to this?So something odd happened to me in the Xbox App on Windows 10. I have always wondered why we could not have time played for back compat games as a hero stat. I understand not having other stats but why not time played.
I recently saw Reach in my recently played games in the app and I clicked on it because I should have 95% of the achievements unlocked but it was showing as zero. When I do click it for about 10 seconds it shows that I played the game for 3 minutes. Which was accurate as I just fired it up over the weekend to check the title screen. But then it flashes to "nothing to show here"
I grabbed a quick photo of it... I sure would like it to track time played and have no idea why it could not and this shows evidence that they are tracking time played on BC games. So maybe there is some hope??

what are the chances of getting The Force Unsleahses games on BC? I'm tempted to buy them while discounted
Anyone's guess. With the Star Wars license now with Disney I'm not sure Activision releasing Force Unleashed again will cause issues with licensing. Then again, the Lego Star Wars Complete Saga game is in BC now which is not Disney's so it could be Force Unleashed is added to. Activision is on board for BC so that can't be the issue.what are the chances of getting The Force Unsleahses games on BC? I'm tempted to buy them while discounted
Nice, thank you. For $10 worths giving a tryDisney Interactive is the title's current publisher (according to Wikipedia) and they've been announced as being in support of BC. In my opinion, chances are better than not.

There are actually 2 products listed in the Xbox live databases, one which is the actual 360 game itself, this is where you achievements actually track and unlock.
Then there is the Xbox one Live "wrapper" which is what your Xbox One is running. These wrappers shouldn't appear, but sometimes they show as a separate title that you have played, they always show as 0/0 achievements. This separate product ID is used to track playtime and sort screenshots and create a game hub/store page in the Xbox One/Threshold environment. When they launch new titles, sometimes the 2 product codes become separated, but usually they get merged and it just looks like 1 game.
If you look in your achievements, you'll see a 2nd Halo reach, with a small low res box art, instead of the high res square Xbox one BC tile.
So basically the information is there but not meant to be seen? I hope they turn on time played at least.. makes sense to me. Thanks for the info, explains what I saw!
Good-ish news for multi-disc support in BC I guess.
