But presumably the level of distress is closely linked to how much you want the gear?
Apologies if you played Destiny, or another loot game a lot, but watch some Gjallarhorn reaction videos on youtube to see how excited people get for loot....then imagine how hard they will rage quit when some smart ass gaffer takes it off with them 20 seconds left on their evac timer![]()
I did play Destiny........and the Gjallarhorn was cool and exciting. But no I don't freak out for a digital good. If I had a world first or something....yes thats something to freak out about. But if you get depressed about losing gear or not getting something to RNG. You might want to find a different hobby before you mentally breakdown. The General pop may freak out over it.....which will then cause insane outrage and probably bigger changes. But again people need to think the effects of the dark zone long term....not the two days they play it. It will get stale and it will only take probably 2-3 weeks for it to happen.
Did you get in early or something?
December test
Do you think this has something to do with the fact that nothing you earn you keep at the end of the day due to it being a test?
Partially......but once the general crowd hits and people flood in.....I think impressions are going to vary insanely once the new smell wears off. Everyone with impressions are only thinking how amazing the Dark Zone was for the minimal two days of playing without thinking long term exactly how the general crowd is going to feel.
