Yeah but wasnt it digital only (even the Japanese version)?
I almost missed this since there's no Ever17 mention in the title. Backed.

Didn't Xtend version of Root Double already have a Vita port?
Don't go expecting Ever17, really. There's just not enough Uchikoshi and/or Abo there to compare.
Everything I read about the game states it's an improvement over Nakazawa's previous work, I/O though.
Reading Root Double untranslated would be more legible than translated I/O.
I/O is confusing as shit.
That would be an extremely tall order from my perspective, Ever17 is probably my favourite non-Ryukishi07 VN.I except a better game than ever17
I like VNs, I just don't like exclusively or predominantly romance-focused ones so my selection is very limited.Didn't know you knew about VNs, nice!
I except a better game than ever17, I/O was more an experiment, this one seems more "safe" with many elements from the infinity series and it seems like nakazawas answer to uchikoshis 999.
I'm really excited, i know his potential to deliver amazing VNs like Remember11

Gonna have to agree with you on that one. None knows our plight.
Play YU-NO
Not sure why you keep on liking to say this when Nakazawa has been credited as a scenario writer for N7/E17/R11?He's only the director, so he didn't do the scenario itself.

Wikipedia said:The game was developed in a collaboration between Regista and Yeti. It was directed and produced by Takumi Nakazawa,[1][4][5] and written by Team Tsukishima, which consists of Souki Tsukishima, Tora Tsukishima, and Moyashi Himukai, based on an original concept by Nakazawa;[5] the writers were recruited and chosen through a competition.[6] The music was composed by Takuma Sato.[7] The main characters were designed by Mikeou, and the side characters by Wadapen and Narumi Ōtaka. Eco was the colorist and the supervisor for the creation of the event CGs.[5] According to Nakazawa, the key concepts of the game are "escape from a locked room", "lethal crisis", "suspect everything in an extreme situation", "near future sci-fi", and "group drama".[8] He cited the works of Christopher Nolan and J. J. Abrams as heavy influences on Root Double, mentioning Nolan's Memento and Inception, and Abrams' Fringe and Lost; another work that inspired him was the film The Poseidon Adventure.[6]

$115 - All digital collection, it includes digital Steam copy, digital PSVita, and a digital copy of the OST.
$1,500 - All the rewards of the $1000 tier, plus the proposal draft of Root Double signed by Nakazawa (limited to 5)
What's in the Root Double proposal draft?
The proposal draft is the document Nakazawa wrote up and created to propose Root Double to Regista and Views. It is about 40 pages long, contains all sorts of interesting background information, character profiles, setting ideas, world, and an outline of the twists. Also included is some concepts/information that were eventually changed or ended up not being used. It will be translated from Japanese to English and please note it does include spoilers so it shouldn't be read until you finish the game.

Oh? Let me see who the writers are then.
Yikes. I'm half considering withdrawing my pledge now.

What's your overall favorite VN? See my avatar, make the right choice.
I can't decide between Higurashi and Umineko, each does some things better than the other. What's your overall favorite VN? See my avatar, make the right choice.
Umineko

Inspiration doesn't necessarily mean a product of similary quality or even one that's comparable.
I mean hell, Danganronpa is inspired by friggin Illbleed.
Is it me, or has the Kickstarter slowed down dramatically?
I mean, what's today's score? $500?
Just over $1000. It's slowed, but it doesn't matter much any more in terms of reaching the base goal. The last day alone will give it the 15k it needs.
Great choice, I knew you wouldn't disappoint me.

That seems quite a bit. Any reason why we're assuming this?
That's a good point. Though I think they might make it with a day left. And the paypal doesn't need to be aligned with the Kickstarter timing, so they open it afterwards if they cared to. Though Aku-Audi might be able to tell you more about their plans on that front.Doesn't help me much if they reach the goal on the last day, I want them to do it now/tomorrow, so that SP has the time to add Paypal pledges and I can bloody finally do my part. :\
3 days to get 14 grand.
Don't think it'll make it.
It's only 13k now! We almost there!!
Then please Sekai, try and get the other older projects in order before another KS gets started... So much trust has been lost and between this and Narcissu coming close to not making it, I fear that the project after this really won't make it :/
They do have another one planned. It's that Tokyo Highschool game. I hope they reconsider doing a KS.
Was this an OEL? Regardless, I hope that they wait several months... for everyone's wallet's sake, and hopefully to build up some rep by completing and sending out more backer items and getting more translations done etc.
Oh, FFS, it's actually going down!
It broke 124k earlier today, now it's at 123k again.![]()
Arguably a good reason there should have been a $50 vita tier from the (relative to port confirmation) start, but that can of worms is empty and lying on the ground several pages back. Many people I have seen have the attitude with "I'll just buy it when it gets released for Vita" or whatever, but if this doesn't succeed, that will NOT happen!

I don't care about the PC version, and just want a the vita port and am willing to wait a year, no problem. I just don't want to spend an extra $49 for stuff I don't really have much interest in, but I suppose I'll have to if it comes down the wire in the final 24 hours.
They're 10k away with 3 days left, why are people panicking?

I have no idea. Most people are unfamiliar with Kickstarter trends or are afraid for this particular game.
