Android Version has controller support right?
Android Version has controller support right?
Did the game still as unbalanced as the Original, or they did a great job at balancing thing ? I saw weapon change problem seem to be resolve a little, because it was insane. I remember pure Melee was a little too OP compare to any magic build., but magic build also one shot nearly every enemies with Fire.
Does the iOS version have controller support as well?
Yes, it supports MFI controllers.
In my country's google store the Japanese version shows up but not the english version.

Same in Germany..
Will buy if they ever localize the Vita version.
What term did you search for?Do you mean after manually searching, or clicking the link in the OP? Clicking the OP link did the same for me (French store), but manually searching got me the english version just fine (though it was far from the first result, had to scroll down a bit)

I tried adventures of mana and didn't get it as result. Also tried browsing all Square-Enix games and couldn't find it.

Yeah. FF Adventures is the first Mana game, FF Legends is the first SaGa game.I always get FF Legends and FF Adventure messed up. Is this the one where you escape as a gladiator and fall down a waterfall or something of that nature, in the beginning?

Yup! FF Legends is the one where you climb a tower and fight God at the top :-D
I'm curious, how does this game compare to Secret of Mana on the snes? From the looks of it seems to play more like early Zelda than snes Manas (puzzles in dungeons, not completely linear), is this correct?
It plays a bit more Zelda-like in that it leans stronger towards action-oriented combat than Secret of Mana, but progression is mostly linear (the world gradually opens up, but there's always only one path to progress further at any time). Puzzles are a bit more frequent than in Secret of Mana but they're nowhere near the level of a Zelda game.
The original is also one of the best old school action adventures/rpgs of all time, if you ask me. It's more straightforward than Secret of Mana, but also less janky. I'm glad that the West is finally getting a remake that seems to live up to the original (Sword of Mana was mostly rubbish and we never got that other Japan-only mobile remake from a few years ago).
It's funny to look back on how Square dealt with American releases. Like, they sweep a few Final Fantasies under the rug for some reason and reorder the series like it wasn't important for us to know, but then they think we wouldn't buy new series unless they had Final Fantasy written on them.Yeah. FF Adventures is the first Mana game, FF Legends is the first SaGa game.

Europe was weird as well. They released this game in 1993 as "Mystic Quest" and, in the same year, also released "Mystic Quest" for the SNES, which had absolutely nothing in common with the Mana series (it was that shitty Final Fantasy spin-off created exclusively for the Western markets).
These were, by the way, the only two games that Square cared to bring over to Europe at that time with only Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore to follow. No Final Fantasy for us until VII; and no Chrono Trigger as well. These were truly bleak times.
You know, this messed me up so bad that every time I see FFA brought up, I immediately think of baby's first FF, not Seiken Densetsu. edit: well, at least Enix cared enough to bring over the entire Quintet-trilogy (Soulblazer / Illusion of Gaia / Terranigma). But that was about the only jrpg fix we got during the SNES era.
that's what I'll do for nowWaiting for the PC port.
Then waiting for the mods which fix the PC port. (probably 30 FPS lock, mobile menus)
Don't forget Lufia. Pretty much p!ayed that for hundreds of hours because we had nothing else hahaEurope was weird as well. GB imports were really weird here (France) in the early nineties. A ton of stores sold US games and didn't really bother pointing out they were imports. Then again, every game was in English back then and the console was region free, so it's not like you could tell the difference. That's how I ended up collecting and playing Final Fantasy Legend games, which I loved. I somehow missed on FFA and bought it as Mystic Quest. Hence my everlasting confusion about this game. For some reason I actually had an American copy of Final Fantasy Adventure at that time (iirc, it was the first game of its kind I've ever played, which is probably why I hold it so close to my heart). I didn't know about these regional differences at the time though and later also managed to get a hold of an American copy of Final Fantasy Legend III (i.e. SaGa 3). Imagine my confusion when the two Mystic Quests were released and one of them was the exact same game as my copy of Final Fantasy Adventure...
Is this that gameboy game where you climbed up a tower eating random meat and transforming into different monsters? I think that was a Final Fantasy game on gameboy.... it was very bizarre.
Nope, that's the SaGa series (aka Final Fantasy Legend I - III in the US). This is the first entry of the Mana series.

Pretty sure it's a new SaGa game and not a remake.Ah so it was, I never played Adventure, but liked the other Mana games, I will check it out.
Related, wasn't there also news on a SaGa remake for Vita?
