Holy shit hahahaha that is so..I mean its just so damn stupid. Is there going to be some type of punishment? It would be nearly impossible to tell how many votes should of went to Carson then? Damn that's gross. And why Carson? Would it be wrong to suspect it was because of his skin color?

Cruz and Carson have the most overlap in terms of base, and Carson actually did leave the campaign trail for a bit to get a change of clothes, which is what they actually spinned into him dropping out somehow.

Like was mentioned, their base is made up of Evangelicals. All of Carson's base is mostly Evangelicals, so all of those votes would likely go to Cruz.

I think this was the last stand of Jeb. He tried to seem more powerful tonight as a last ditch effort to be relevant. If he doesn't do decently in New Hampshire I bet he drops out.

This debate has really showed how weak the GOP presidential candidates are.

I think a lot of stronger potential candidates looked at the climate for this election cycle and decided to see what things look like in 2020 instead. They don't want to be associated with this.

Legit thought Rubio would be their guy. He has the "look" if that makes sense. But seeing him crumble under pressure against Christie of all people. I honestly fear what Clinton would do to him.

I tuned in late so I missed the Christie/Rubio exchange and I finally saw it now that the debate is over.

As much as i'll probably never vote republican I still think they should have a strong candidate. Bring out the best in both sides really. On their side this is such a clown show it's disgusting.

You're probably right about stronger candidates sitting this one out.

Speaks to how much the tea party fucked them up. Karl Rove and his legion of doom would never have let this shit show continue or even get started

Before Trump enter the field, they were saying this was the greatest assembly of Republican talent in the primary. I can't think of anyone that sat out here, maybe Nikk Haley, there were 17 people in the field...

I think this debate ended it for Rubio this election cycle. He will return years from now, he will have his legit shot in the future, but I think Christine totally ripped him up and showed that the supposed Emperor truly had no clothes, at least at this point in time.

What I took away from the debate, thanks to Rubio, was that Obama knows what he's doing and that's why he passed Obamacare.

"Obama is trying to make America like other countries." Yeah, like those other, civilized countries that have healthcare systems more efficient and cheaper than ours.

What a little clown.

Ted Cruz is making an enemy out of CNN after blaming them for the Carson story. CNN spokesperson has already come out saying Cruz is "categorically lying to voters and it is astonishing."

It wouldn't surprise me now CNN is going to dig into Cruz's campaign antics in Iowa like no other...and beyond Iowa.

2012 is still my favorite election because of how batshit insane it was. Oops, Herman Cain quoting Pokemon, legitimate rape, 47%, binders full of women, etc.
The top four are soooooo damn difficult. They were all so good in their own unique ways. Perot, Cain, Trump, Jeb!, Palin, Stockdale, Romneyisms, Rove..

If I could buy a DVD miniseries of each year, I'd pay a pretty penny.

I only saw the last hour or so, but I thought Christie, Trump and Kasich did well. Rubio got killed, and the last word from Trump was the only thing memorable about Cruz.

I think overall more craziness has happened this cycle than 2012.

But nothing has touched, or will ever touch, the legacy of Herman Cain.
