Batman V Superman Final Trailer

What a terrible trailer. This movie looks bad in every way imaginable.

Not feeling either trailer. I'll also will say Man of Steel was a terrible movie and I have zero faith in Synder. He fooled me with the Man of Steel trailers.

Ugh...Wveeythong about this movie seems off to me.

Not a big fan of DC characters though. Batman particularly I'm not a fan of.

Well I don't need to see that movie as the entire movie was shown in that trailer.

Looks like such a cash in on the Avengers success too..

I can't really be bothered with DC characters...but at least they are trying to make it interesting. Wonder Woman is pretty generic.

I know there's a lot of Frank Miller's Batman in there, but every time I see Snyder's Batman I can't help but think, eeeeeeey, Midnighter! (Where's my Authority/Midnighter film, DC?) That being said, I did really enjoy Affleck's Batman here. I'm not quite as sure about the rest.

just like my anime videogames. really looking forward to a few of those scenes.

Yeah, as i said in the past i'm not a big (superhero) comicbook guy, so it's not like i'm very excited for this, but on the action side of things, the Nolan Batman movies were pretty damn dull.
This looked like an Arkham game fight.

Trying to sell the super serious tone, with all this goofy stuff, will be interesting to see though.

This looked stupid. Why was Batman punching dudes with the same type of impact as Captain America? Was he wearing a super suit?

If so, not as stupid as I thought.

Yep, I know what Snyder was playing while filming this movie...

DC fans srs question. Assuming batman has fought superman in the comics before, how does he compete with superman?

Always Superman is depowered or under the influence of a mcguffin so Batman can fight him mano a mano.
Also Batman is protected by plot armor and armed with kryptonite stuff.

A "realistic" fight of Bats and Supes would end in less than a minute.

I really...really hope this movie doesn't jump around the story like MoS did. That was the huge turnoff for me.

I'm guessing that Batman sequence is the beginning part of the movie, then he went to Metropolis and shit goes down.
Bruce watch the brawls with intense hate and then the title screen starts.

Whose neck will Superman snap in this movie?

In the garbage.

Where it belongs.

(I'd actually be okay with a solo Midnighter joint, but fuck The Authority with a rake).

Kryptonite, red sun radiation, cheating, taking advantage of Superman's reluctance to kill, tech. That last one is especially important, Supes vs. Bats if the latter is going all out is over in less than a minute.

EDIT: Oh, and the way mind control usually goes down the handwave is that people being mind controlled can't/don't operate at full effectiveness.

Remember to fit batman's origin and (apparent) dream sequence somewhere in there.

Ok the Batman stuff looks fucking great, Arkham style. Now just give us a full on Batman movie like that and it will likely be the greatest comic book movie ever (apart from Deadpool of course)

Comic spoilers :
Batman uses Kryptonite, and/or exploits Superman's moral code of not seriously injuring/killing his enemies by attacking him with the full knowledge that Superman is holding himself back.

I don't get the question as to how Batman is fighting Superman.

His fucking eyes are glowing and he looks like RoboCop. It doesn't take much observation to figure out, he's got some super suit on that's equipped to handle this kind of force.

Usually holds him off, using mostly tech and/or kryptonite to keep him at bay

Makes sense.

I hope they have a solid plan for Superman. This is supposed to be the movie that rescues his reputation somewhat and establishes him as the hero who will go on to lead the Justice League, but the trailers are painting Supes as little more than a plot device in a Batman movie at the moment. Then again, you have the Superman supporting cast, and Lex Luthor, so I'm not sure.

It's kind of an ambitious thing they're doing here if you think about it - jumping right into a wild Jeph Loeb-esque Batman/Superman thing, leading into the JL, before they've even properly established these characters in the film universe.

Batman looks cool here but he's almost the easy part in a way. Superman and the JL are much harder - operating on a much grander scale - but it still has to feel human. And it can't be all dark like a Batman movie all the time.

He's Batman. He regularly takes out goons this way.

Lol, does he? I mean he was throwing dudes so hard that they flew clear across the room, impacted walls hard enough to shatter them, or drive a human skull through a concrete floor.

He's a dope ass jujitsu fighter, but last I remember from shit I've read of him, he's still a human being (and old as hell in this too).

That's why I asked if his old man suit gave him crazy super strength. Otherwise Zack Snyder needs to put the dualshock controller down.

Kryptonite or some sort of Red Sun ray generator.

He usually doesn't win or it's a draw. Dark Knight Return has him use a lot of kryptonite and armor similar to the one he's using in the movie, on a Superman who had been hit by a nuke (usually that doesn't affect him at all).

Whose neck will Superman snap in this movie?

tbh I'd more worried about wonder woman.

Now this is Batmanracing!

Specifically, it felt like Batman from the comics. Taking on a room full of guys while you actually see him fight. All paranoid. Good stuff.

The way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if WB makes Batman the creator and leader of the justice league in their cinematic universe lol.

Movie opens with the Metropolis scenes. That Buttman fight is in the first half hour in present day. The Buttman/Superman main event fight is the second hour, and is around the hundred minute mark. Then you get your final act with Spike-Hulk and The Joker's backup plan. You even get the hostage situation in the movie.

It's like The Dark Knight all over again. Hack Snyder can't make original movies after all. It's just another adaptation of an adaptation.
