That's disappointing, really like the artwork but that means I probably wont bother double dipping
Well, that's my opinion though. You should check the screenshots on the Steam page. I'm really sensible about IQ, so there's that.

they key word there is "imo"
I think it looks fantastic. significantly better than the Vita version, and of course the 3D areas (ie, the majority of the game) are natively rendered in your selected resolution.
The 3D areas i.e. the most boring part of the gameSorry but nice looking boxy corridors and background furniture dont entice me.
So when booting this up on my laptop the only resolution option I get is 1536x864, any ideas why that could be? Laptop should be able to go up to 1080p by the way.
How good/bad is the upscale? Anyone running it at higher resolutions have any screenshots perchance?
Fixed that for you. And yes, I'm serious.Attention newcomers!!
STAY AWAY FROM SEARCHING ANYTHING ONLINE.
NOT EVEN HENTAI
And neither does 60fps?

Here's one I just took:
You can tell the 2D elements are upscaled, but the background is 3D and crisp. 60fps is nice.
That's beautiful. I'm rebuying it to support a competent port and 60 FPS, though I don't plan on replaying it any time soon. Here's one I just took:

lol so true especially regarding a couple of specific characters. Nothing is safe when it comes to avoiding spoilers.
Figured out issue, it was because of DPI scaling like you said and trying to run it in Borderless mode. Game was also glitching out until i switched to OpenGL.Do you by chance have any DPI scaling enabled? I just googled it and it seems to be a common problem across various programs.

Surprised to see that it's such a lengthy game, most VN's I've played up to now are usually 3-5 hours max. Does the game pace itself well over the 15-20 hours? Is it best to play in small chunks? Is it structured into chapters to facilitate this? Whats the best way to tackle it?
Really interested since I thought this was just a normal VN.
is best girl.Mukuro
Would you recommend this to someone who has never played/ever been interested in visual novel games?
On the flip side, I do love me some horror/mystery themes!

Reverse-psychology stuff aside, you will regret googling that. ._.
It is really that bad. I got spoiled from an Amazon listing
the hentai contains spoilers

Don't view the trading cards either... One of them contains a spoiler.
So basically just play the game and don't do anything else until you've completed it.
It's the only way to be safe.
But seriously, some basic precautions to avoid spoilers wouldn't hurt, the genre thrives on story revelations.
Damn you're fast or I'm the slowest player known to man. This is how long it took me to complete my first run of DR2:

Wow... Really that bad? Guess I'm not using Google for a while than.
Anyway, anyone else have the problem where the game just rushes through all the text for no reason? I'm not pressing anything in and the game just goes at a ridiculous train speed through the text. It's all gone before I can even read the first word! :\
shift fast scrolls text, so if you press it or enter the steam overlay it speeds through everything

OS X always seems to be ignored by Japanese studios. I'm not sure why. They ported this to iOS, so it wouldn't have been that hard to use that as the basis for a Mac version. Although it looks like they've pulled the iOS version from the App Store as well? I guess the only way for me to ever play Danganronpa is to pick up a PSTV.
What in the world were you doing?
