Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc PC |OT| It's getting Steamy in here...

So do we know yet about the visual quality of this port? I saw a few people mentioning from early screenshots that it looked like the assets might just be upscaled from the Vita version which has me worried.

fucking FO4 Season Pass is so damn high.

Isn't it meant to be going up in price considerably in March or something?

Are there any technical problems? Not buying it until I hear from people playing it.

All of the issues that I had when review copies were sent out are pretty much gone now. That said, if anyone is still getting UI flickering, just open it in OpenGL

Woot! Picked this up out of love and played for half an hour. Everything seems good, though there is no mouse cursor in the menus and you need to use WASD/Arrow keys to navigate them :( The right-click look feels weird to me... would like an invert option since it feels more like I'm dragging the image than mouse-looking. I'll probably get used to it.

Getting steady 60 fps (doesn't appear to go higher), no flickering on anything using DX9 borderless @ 1440p and MSAA 4x. It runs fine at native res but as it was already known the 2D assets are scaled from the portable versions. The 3D elements are crisp at least.

In this game you can give presents to characters to increase your relationship levels and unlock minor story content. There are optimal presents for different characters. I had previously compiled images for them - including a non-spoilers variation - but it looks like there is a website now (warning: chapter 2 spoilers). Some of the names don't match since it was originally translated from the Japanese version but the numbers are the same.

It originally took me about 28 hours to complete this game.

How fast do Steam refunds work? I bought the game, but meant to use a gift card instead of my main credit card and wanted to see if I can refund and repurchase the game. It's not a huge deal if it takes too long.

It can take several days before the funds are returned. You'll lose ownership of the game immediately.

Haha, damn, just sold a trading card for $1.52 CAD. Definitely gonna idle the rest these immediately before they go down in price. People love their animu cards.

I wanna get the level 5 badge just because I love the game so much. I might splurge on them.

uh

serious graphical glitches here in makoto's introduction and then a crash to desktop.

edit: and yet again. what the fuck?

gtx 970, i7, w10

Despair from the beginning.

I've already played through it numerous times before. but this shit is unacceptable.

would not advise buying this until it's sorted out. anyone else had similar issues?

my settings:

newest nvidia drivers. Maybe I should turn AA off entirely? the text is glitching the fuck out and it crashes as soon as Makoto finishes his intro. three times now.

Does the game have keyboard button prompts and can it output at 1440p? Might get it abit later though the graphical glitches are worrying

So it's still happening then?
My fixes ended up being:
Don't use full screen or borderless - use windowed
If you're using 2+ displays, turn one of them off
Use OpenGL if all else fails

What!

How?! really, I'm confused. Is this going for 100% trophies or what? Because even DR2 only took me 12 hours on the first playthrough!

Damn you're fast or I'm the slowest player known to man. This is how long it took me to complete my first run of DR2:

i might but this now but is it worth going above your msaa setting that you have? not worth it?

I don't notice much difference above 4x at 1440p, not that it matters very much since the game is super simplistic graphically. It's using well under 10% of my resources lol. Could likely max it easily.

hooooly shit

this is by far the definitive version of the game and I haven't even got to a trial yet. 60fps is such a jump up

also, playing with a DS4 is fantastic due to the mouse controls on the touchpad. it's so smooooth

Seems like a pretty good port overall, but it wouldn't hurt to have a setting for changing mouse sensitivity, although the default one is completely playable.
Also unless I missed something, I don't think there's any way to change the text speed or audio levels? Those are pretty basic options for most PC VNs.

Danganronpa>Fallout 4 confirmed btw.

Edit: Looks like you get access to audio settings after you clear the tutorial, so that's nice.

So when booting this up on my laptop the only resolution option I get is 1536x864, any ideas why that could be? Laptop should be able to go up to 1080p by the way.

Finished the Prologue, and played until I'm allowed to Save using the Handbook.

I fucking hate
Byakuya
already.

That's disappointing, really like the artwork but that means I probably wont bother double dipping

they key word there is "imo"

I think it looks fantastic. significantly better than the Vita version, and of course the 3D areas (ie, the majority of the game) are natively rendered in your selected resolution.
