Trump seems to be leading in every congressional district right now.

Not a lot of Bernie talk... Surprised, honestly.

What is his path to the nomination now? Has it finally sunk in yet?

PS- I see the 'if Bernie doesn't get the nod, I'm going with Trump' people already. Not good.

After today. Hillary is pretty much get the nom barring some surprise I guess.

Man, Hilary winning would be depressingly bittersweet.

I mean, I hope you guys still vote for her if it comes down to her and any Republican, but she always came off to me as a sort of slimy opportunist. The best fictional comparison I can think of is the Underwoods, thats who she reminds me of. Or on a more realistic note, Carcetti from The Wire... another "progressive" who only really sought to further his own career. Although I was disappointed in him, even Obama came off as genuine opposed to Hillary. Hillary still loves Wall Street, she still will try to implement some pseudo-Free Health care that isn't really free... I feel like in the end, she will still be to the right of our very own Stephen Harper.

If Hillary does win (which is looking more and more likely...) I hope Bernie at least inspired more socialists to rise within the Democratic party, because honestly its only getting more and more extreme from here.

If you believe any of this, you haven't been paying attention.

Hillary is a progressive. It's reflected in her record. No quotes. Full stop.

And you are completely entitled to your opinion and your vote, I just find it amusing that the left casts the right as "old white men" when the party is quite diverse.

Just because Rubio and Cruz are hispanic doesn't mean they have their best interest at heart.

Ben Carson certainly doesn't have mine. The GOP will put the best candidate forward that they feel has a chance of winning. At the end of the day they'll be pushing old, antiquated GOP policies.

Things get interesting now that Jeb dropped out. Trump is dominating now, but when it comes down to Trump vs Rubio vs Cruz, Rubio is going to get ALL of Jeb's converts. Cruz will get crushed once this happens, but it's not clear Trump comes out on top. And knowing the GOPe, if it's even remotely close they will do underhanded shit like with GWB to fudge numbers and get the establishment candidate out on top.

So Trump is not even close to being home free yet

Not quite:

Second pick of Jeb voters:
NBC/SurveyMonkey: Rubio 19, Kasich 16, Cruz 12, Trump 11, Carson 9, DK 23

That depends actually. Bernie pulled almost half the delegates from Nevada. He's going to get crushed in the south but if he scores in the midwest he can take the fight to the coasts and still win the delegates.

That's a huge if, but not completely impossible.

I just cannot fathom how you will vote for Trump because your man Bernie won't be the nom. You don't care about ideologies at all. It's has to be some sort of troll.

As a black man I don't have that privilege. Not with this GOP field.

Even I wouldn't vote for Trump. He could be bullshitting everyone, but I can't take that risk.

So Bernie effectively failed the 'black voter test'. No surprise he's playing catch up by several miles compared to Clinton's appeal to the black vote.

Personally, as a black man, I cannot wait to vote for Clinton over him. I want someone who can get shit done and he isn't the one.

Genuinely curious. How is Hillary any more capable of getting things done more than Sanders? Sanders has one of the best records of getting his bills passed than anyone in congress.

Over the years war has slowly rised to be the number one issue for me when it comes to selecting a president. It's they most impactfull thing a president can do. The resources, time and lives that go into it are just too much to ignore.

Tired talking point? So everything she earnestly believed in before she decided to run for office in 2015 is just invalid? What a privilege she gets to enjoy.

That happen a long time ago. People change and people make mistake they regret. So anyone running for office has to have a clean history of no mistakes? I believe Clinton has learned from that mistake. I will continue to support Clinton all the way as thats the Candidate I believe in that can win it all.

Fox panel is so bad LOL. They are still spinning this for Rubio.

I gotta be frank I am ultimately not a Trump supporter as he says things like "close the internet" and stuff that is literally nightmarish but watching the mainstream pundits crap their pants is just amazing.

Deep down I think he is pretty much a progressive.

There was a lot of that earlier in the thread, given Nevada was called a couple of hours before SC.

TLDR: People are coming to the realization Hill will be the nominee; most are ok with it with a few exceptions switching to Trump.

There was a lot of Bernie talk. It's just that the Republican race became more interesting with Trump winning and Jeb bailing, and speeches. Some Bernie supporters have accepted the loss like myself. Others are holding out until Super Tuesday. Then you have the same people making sure they let everybody know that as a Bernie supporter they are voting for Trump because they like to rile people up. Thankfully many of the Hillary supporters have opted to not rub it in which has further decreased the Bernie talk.

I don't need to bring it up. Trump will, and it will bring out voters for him that would never vote for Cruz or Rubio in the General.

This is what scares me. If Trump brings enough political sideliners out to participate and the traditional GOP votes hold their nose and participate too...

... could we see a 2008 Obama level win for Trump?

Can you explain to me as to how Hillary will get "shit done" while Bernie won't?

How will she get what she wants past the Senate and the Congress?

Oh god Ted Cruz speeches are painfully long. Probably the worst speeches come from this guy. Although the Rubio one was pretty bad tonight.

Not according to the polls, no. And as many people as he'll bring to the polls, he'll drive away from the polls.

He's going to set the party back years, and the RNC knows it.

What's Hillary's stance on Obama's drone policies? That's one issue that I'm really worried about.

Judging off her track record for voting yes on the Mexico border fence and drone patrols I would imagine she is more willing to use them than Obama.
