Conspiracy theories?
I would've been fine if they said something like "we detected a bug that for some reason we didn't notice before" or "the multiplayer server stuff still needs a little polishing to avoid lag" or maybe it really is about manufacturing the retail stuff and I'm just bugging out.
of all the things
to press more discs
Discovered more Ubisoft art assets?

Well, let me be the first to not be shocked when this thing comes in hot and messy
Basically, all this did for me is determine that I'm in fact not picking up Doom. Never played a Doom before, however the new one looks slick as fuck, but with it coming out 3 days after Uncharted 4 now it'll have to wait. I'll end up picking it up on sale.
I have no idea how the system works, but I imagine that the global blu-ray "pressing" capacity per month is close to the the global average demand per month. It's possible that There were a surge in orders from other games, movies, software etc.I don't think I've ever heard of a game running out of discs at a retailer. Every big game I've gotten day 1 has had plenty. Can't believe they need an extra two weeks to make more discs when the "original" release date was still over a month from now. But maybe they are planning on working on the game until the last minute so that left no time to put it on discs? Idk, it's a bummer man.
A shot in the dark? Or do you have reasons other than the delays (and Ubi Pic) for these thoughts?
It says it's regarding manufacturing.Meh, if it means the game is more polished then what's the issue? It's two weeks.
Despite all my rage, I am still just a gamer whose aged.
I bet it's a combination of multiplayer and physical stuff.
Maybe their manufacturer ran into issues pressing the discs? Maybe multiplayer servers fried upon plug in? 2 weeks is such an odd delay since you can't really -do- a whole lot in 2 weeks in terms of features/etc. Maybe squash some bugs.
I do almost wonder if this is simply to let Ratchet and Clank breathe.
It comes out April 12th.Wait, a Rachet and Clank game released? I've heard nothing about it.
I hate how these release periods always happen. You get literal months of dry game releases then suddenly "YO, HERE. HERE'S EVERYTHING." Fucking Uncharted 4, Quantum Break, Doom, and Mirror's Edge. And that's just the games I'm interested in, there's a fuck-ton more over the next three months.
R&C saved
Naughty Dog's tweet also implies it wasn't their decision to delay it.

I know I was just messing with you. I love Uncharted and have played every Doom since the first one so I'll be getting both. The new one looks sick!
Oh yeah, I knew you were joking. I was just kinda venting how there's going to be too many games and too little time and money soon. I just took a peek at the entire 2016 schedule and... my wallet is not ready. First world problems, I know. XD
haha! didn't see the gif going there

fixedOh god his fanboyism is unbelievable.
i have uncharted 3 being a buggy mess at launch, uncharted 2 being buggy to the point of hard crashing at least once at launch, and years of watching this game churn and constantly delayed to back up my hunch.
If past behavior is truly indicative of future behavior then i'm just making a relatively safe bet regarding the next uncharted game
Really? Did have to make a game yet, where maps where created first to show of the new engine and then had to write a story around them? Or has he had an important actor leave mid production while the release date was set in stone? When he manages all that and the game turns out better than U3, then we can talk.LOL Druckmann>Amy

Druckmann's first game as creative director was TLoU. I think he's proven himself already and then some.Really? I'm actually as calm as I can be, thank you. I'm a Souls fan (check my history) so the extra wait really means nothing to me since I'll be playing DS III for the entire duration of it.
I just don't like how people on GAF act like ND (and few other devs) can do nothing wrong even when something like this happens, which clearly is a fault on their part.
Buy hey don't mind me, continue with your ND praising.
Ever thought that there could have been a large influx of late pre-orders, as in, later than when they decided on an amount of discs to print?if that's the case then I think they should mention that. if it really is just for manufacturing purposes I really don't see why they'd realize they'd need to delay it, this late into production. they should've thought of it long ago
