I can see why you wouldn't want to go with a specialised capture setup for one game - it is a shame it's so much more difficult to record stuff on the Wii U. And an audio-only thing wouldn't really be the same.

It wouldn't help you reord Bayo 2, but there is a bunch of cheap screen recording software for PC. Combine that with emulators and there are a ton of games even pretty low-spec PC's can record. As for you commentary Audacity is free and very easy to use.

Fire Emblem Fates. If you play as a guy in Conquest and/or Revelation there is a gay romance option and you can pet his face to wake him up at one point if you get married.
