Without a great (not even pretty good, it has to be a great one imo) clan the P2P grind is basically insurmountable.
The only way to work around the absurdly long chests' times is to have members keep up the give cards/ask for/give again circle going strong. Even then it's gonna be an hard feat, but without it? You'll give up on the game sooner rather than later.

After unlocking more weapons and switching to my iPad (I wish there was cloud save), I'm enjoying The Lost Socks a lot more.

It's definitely a good game. Better than the Rayman games at least (which I'm not a fan of).

That's the reason I wanted to make a new one, they're all full. The "unofficial" ones are not yet full but it's mostly lurkers (open clans) which don't donate cards, hence my post explaining how to "fight" the super strong p2p component of the game. They've gone too far and it's too bad cause the game is good.

It sounds really cool. You have three moves in each turn, so it'll be more strategic than your usual Match 3, and it has both a story mode and puzzle/challenge modes. Dev says it's about 20 hours of gameplay between all the modes

No, I barely play on PC anymore and prefer everything on a portable platform. Waited for a Vita port for forever (and still would prefer it) but that probably won't happen and the iOS version is cheap.

Heard a lot of good things about it so I am hyped too. Now I only need time to actually play all my purchases. I know I will just play Clash Royale instead

I don't know. They were teasing it a lot on Twitter about a month ago. But it's been pretty silent since then, which to me means one of two things -- it's being pushed out or, my preferred theory, they are planning a stealth release (hopefully tonight ).

2 nights ago I was stuck in the 'Year Walk' level in Love you to bits (which is awesome btw and where the game really picks up imho).

I picked up my wife iPad where my son plays Love you bits too....just to discover that he is 4 levels ahead of me.
