Yes, but she also rode a motorcycle into space to get there, drifting in space wouldn't kill her, I'm guessing she's just outside of the warped space bubble god made while fighting bayo.
 
Why does Dante sound like Ultimate Spider-Man?

Anyway, that sure was a thing of some sort. Can't say I've ever been a fan of character battles, whether cross or intra-fiction. Nice animation, I guess, but the drab colors on everything from the backgrounds to the effects were not fun to look at.
 
wow that was awesome, one of the best "action"game cutscene ive watched in awhile and well done for both characters!
yes, the result is not surprising, Dante has a huge advantage on regenerative abilities and weapons in general, while Bayonetta relies a bit much on her demon powers.

Besides, so far Dante could be argued as THE strongest in his universe, while Bayonetta is quite different if you pay attention, it would be something like:

Aesir/Omne>Sheba>Jubileus>Balder>Rodin>=Bayonetta>Jeanne>The rest.

I think Vergil would obviously win, but truly the most Vergil like character in Bayonetta would be Balder, who is stronger than Bayo, i think a fight between DMC3 Vergil and Father Balder would be quite interesting, and Balder could even win.
Vergil is very strong, but he ended weaker than Dante after all.

Maybe stronger than DMC 1 Dante, but we could argue he is gotten much stronger since then, or they are slightly different universes from DMC3/4

In my mind Bayo is like a DBZ character, by the end of her game you are destroying gods and planets. Dante is like a Vash the Stampede or Dragon Ball character. Tough and skilled, but still sort of limited in a lot of ways.

I won't get too much into the logic of character battles because I've suffered through way too many over the years, but most DBZ characters wreck Dante's shit like nothing. Pretty sure Yamcha or Krillin could solo the entire DMC-verse. Dante doesn't even measure up to the top tiers of something like Negima or Naruto, and almost any DBZ character could solo that verse as well.

true Bayonetta is not capable of killing a Godlike being by herself,not just the final boss but also her own father. and other characters. she is very strong but on on the same level, Jubileus is more comparable to a slightly stronger Savior than anything else.
although Dante so far has not been shown to fight similar demons without help except on the anime and DMC 2, but i guess that still counts.

Juvileus created the universe, is durable enough to go from Pluto to Mercury at 358 times the speed of light and survive if she colides with the planet, can manipulate time, create black holes, summon the elements and much more. The savior is a big statute that shoots lasers that are not strong enough to destroy a city. I think Jubileus is more than "slighty stronger than the Savior".
 
I've always associated Dante getting his ass handed to him because he likes to play too much. This was a pretty good Death Battle and at some points quite funny,

Well far stronger, but still we are talking about her weak half powered form.she didnt created the universe though.
And the Savior never used its max max power either :O
 
I didn't know about this series before, but now I love it.

I was kind of hoping for a Bayo win, but I had a feeling it was going to be Dante!

Oh come on, this is just disingenuous.
The savior is just a statue brought to life, and being controlled by sparda's sword.
Jubileus is god, creator of the universe, and can likewise end it to "reboot" it.

The saviour is just a big mech build for killing demons, and it does that by shooting lasers at them.

Jubileus warps space with a thought and could only be defeated with the force of creation itself. It's not nearly on the same level.

Jubileus is more similar to Mundus. Maybe Despair Embodied too but we don't know much about Despair aside from it being absurdly strong.
 
I'd probably place Jubileus over Mundus in terms of raw power in fairness. But DMC2 ha... Yes, I'm mentioning DMC2! DMC2 had Dante take out a demon said to be at least as strong as Mundus without breaking a sweat. Dante at his peak giving his all in a fight must be some terrifying stuff.

That's like a "half of infinity" kind of situation though; even in her weakened state, jubileus feats are leagues beyond what mobile suit gundam savior was doing. A full power jubileus just means that the universe would've been destroyed again, I don't see dante, or anyone not an actual "god" stopping that.

It's like comparing episode 3 Gurren Lagann with Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann!
 
Great ep, one of my favorites now. Right up there with Snake Vs Sam and Deadpool Vs Deathstroke. I think the Pokemon Vs Digimon is still my favorite though, just for Taichi punching the shit out of Red.

Not only that, but Platinum Game is use of the "bayonetta combat design template" in all of their games is beginning to wear thing. Whereas I look to the DMC series to innovate new things in regards to combat.

And LOL at this match up, Dante is half demon Bayonetta is technically human. Actually I don't know what the fuck Bayonetta is the storylines in those games don't make any sense.
 
Whoever this animator is is doing gods work. Remember when Death Battle used to look like this?

I'm a little disappointed Vergil didn't show up but I'm hoping it's because they're saving him for someone who could give him a real challenge.

This wasn't specifically mentioned in the death battle video, but in DMC1, Dante has the ability to STOP time via the Bangle of Time. So, congrats, Bayo can slow down time. Don't matter. Dante can stop it.

Also, Dante's Royal Guard as Dahbomb mentioned literally means Dante's invincible as he can just parry any and all attacks. Except grapples.

Not that hard to grasp.

She's human, gained great strength and power due to the pact she made with the demon known as "Madama Butterfly" and she only got stronger as time passed. Training and all that. Her hair acts as a conduit for summoning demons and other objects and she can even change her hair how she wants, it doesn't need to be long for her to summon or do anything else she can do.

She was (is?) also the "Left Eye of darkness" of the Eyes of the World, that governed creation and gave mankind free will. I mean, by the end of Bayo 2 the Eyes don't exist anymore because time travel and Bayonetta killing God, but yeah.
 
Dante catching the bullet in his teeth made me squeal with delight just as much the second time as the first. That could totally be a cutscene in a DMC game. They absolutely nailed it with this Death Battle.
 
I really liked the fight. Especially the way he cut her up into bloody chunks at the end. Beautiful. Especially the Rose part.

Kind of like Deathbattle having Deathpool in the running. It really is unfair when you pit characters who are essentially unkillable against most opponents.

I really wish they'd stop doing it.
