Early impressions start rolling out for Batman v. Superman

As someone who listens to A LOT of scores, the BvS score sounds like to be brutally honest hot garbage. And I don't feel that way very often about *any* score. It's just a mess of noise and tons of percussion. The Batman "theme" is exhausting and boring. Holkenborg was on such a roll with Mad Max and Deadpool. Bummer. Zimmer's contribution to the score with parts of Man of Steel's theme are the few highlights of the album. It just feels rushed and uninspired.

I don't feel like anything reach's Zimmer's height with MoS, but I do like Is She With You and This is My World. A few other tracks are ok-good, I'm hoping we get a more defined Batman theme in his solo film.

I hope that in Justice League they give Superman that same sense of presence that Hulk had in Avengers. Not in the sense that he should just go ham and destroy buildings but rather the other characters hype him up throughout the movie.

Like when Stark responds to Loki's "I have got an army" by saying "we've got the Hulk"... I want Batman to hype up Superman in front of Darkseid or whoever the villain is.

I had doubts they would dive right in with Darkseid. It's more likely they'd do someone like Brainiac or even Lex Luthor first. If they wanted to copy Marvel they would probably do Anti-Monitor and work towards Crisis.

I'm loving the "best live action Batman/
Bruce Wayne
" comments as if it means anything since the comic source is really inconsistent as to how both are portrayed.

It does. Maybe it'll grow on me or I need to watch the movie first, but right now it's all noise and I can't tell which track is which because they all sound indistinguishable. I can only tell I'm listening to a different track when I hear themes from MoS.

That event last year had about 10 people in the theater.

I show up with about 100 people in line.

I say "Does everyone have this 'front of line' ticket?"

They say "yes"

Weird.

Got my seat, dead center. Like 20 mins before it starts.

I hope you don't get in lmao. You must pay the ticket price like us regular plebs

I always get in, Disco. I am the daywalker!

I hope a bird shits on you.

But

The hero Gaf needs.

YAY

Got a seat in the middle of the theater. Not crowded at all. Best part is this looks like a 2d showing.

Yup, same here. No glasses given out. Doesn't seem like a lot of fanfare.

I'm in line now.

Not everyone gets super early free tickets I guess

Well, the way this one worked is only people who went to the trailer preview a year ago got tickets. It's normally an open screening or using passwords. You think they'd open it up.

Weird. Maybe people assume to going to be a mad house and don't bother. Godzilla preview I went to was 100% packed.

I don't think a lot of people signed up for the trailer thing out here. They never said you'd get tickets to a new screening until the end.
