I honestly can't take reviews that say "Best Comic Book Movie Ever."
I'm sure it might be great but best CBM is a bit too much.
I guess there's a chance but you're right, whenever anyone says "best ever" I sigh a little inside.
Reading some of those reviews makes your jaw drop. Are the first 25 or so reviews on that site for a movie always that incredibly positive?

This reminds me of the Superman reference in Spider-Man. Blew my mind as a kid for some reason.
I remember seeing that in the trailer with Peter's shifty expression at the end, and I just wanted him to say "No, I'm Spider-Man!"

It still amazes me how wrong people get basic story beats of MoS. Johnathan wants Clark to let kids die, Superman totally destroys Metropolis, He never saves anyone, Zod only cares about killing. All sorts of things that are just wrong.
Angry Joe LOVED Man of Steel, so I think the odds are good for him to like this one as well. The reason he was pissed during hte second trailer was because of the Doomsday reveal.

Man of Steel taught me just how stupid people can be when watching a movie. Basic plot points lost on them.
Well, he's going to have a field day with a couple of other aspects.
Terrible movies can be confusing to people not used to looking past inept writing and direction to figure out what the film is trying to communicate. It's unfortunate that so many people who disliked Man of Steel didn't fully understand why they disliked it so much, but at the same time it's probably better not to waste much brainpower on a Goyer/Snyder film anyway.
