Help me out here; Humble sent me an email with a link to a page that was supposed to contain my Steam Key. I opened the page and "claimed" it to my humble account. But now I can't find the steam key in my humble account.

Are keys actually out yet to redeem on Steam? Or do I have to wait for after midnight?

Something went seriously wrong with the key distribution from the sounds of it. On the kickstarter page I'm seeing some people saying they got steam keys when they asked for console versions and other people who got absolutely nothing like we did. I guess I'll just have to send a support email to Humble if it doesn't show up tomorrow. Estimated wait time 5+ business days!

:( This is my problem too.

Fuuuuuuuuu

I even added more to my initial pledge through Backerkit. This sucks.

I'm not going to say much yet, but I've been playing a review build of the game... and it's MUCH harder than I expected. Wow. Learn to play smart and vary things up.

That is all. Enjoy the game when it unlocks. :)

That's one thing I recall from previews. It's not a button-mashing hack-and-slash and if you don't fight with skill or dodge effectively or whatnot, you'll die fast

If you can, can you give an estimate of how long you think a playthrough might be?

I'm not actually finished yet so it's hard to say. 8-10 hours if I had to guess, but don't hold me to that.

for the people playing, how well is it holding up? remember a lot of people were having frame rate issues in the beta.

Having a somewhat older pc
intel i7 2600k
xfx 6870 1 gb
8gb of system ram

makes me a little nervous despite being well past the minimal specs listed. at the time of the preview people with much newer rigs then me were having severe frame rate issues

I can only hope Humble Bundle, BackerKit, and Kickstarter have a 3 way and produce my key. I have the same issue as many others here-- No key when I click through the Humble email. Sonofa....

Don't mess with me, boy. How good we talkin?

damn gooood my friend.

For people worried about performance. It runs very smoothly, and hasn't crashed for me once. Rockin a GTX 7702gb, I5 3570K

Is a gamepad recommended or is this still good to play with a mouse and keyboard?

The KBM setup gave me some trouble especially since this game is very fast, and challenging with it's combat/exploration. Felt a lot better, and more comfortable with a gamepad.

Game's not unlocked yet. Only press builds

Any first impressions?

It is incredible. The combat is amazing. Fluid, responsive, and punishing if you're not calm. The artwork, animation, and music are great. (The music is very atmospheric. It doesn't have catchy overworld tunes so that might turn people off.)

Some combat spoilers I guess?
You're also very limited at the beginning in terms of abilities and combat. All the abilities you had in the kickstarter/preview build are pretty much gone. You have your gun, sword, and basic dash. You can't even quickly chain dashes until you unlock it.

Also, not sure if anyone remembers but there is no English text in the game. Definitely take your time and pay attention to everything for the gameplay/mission. That includes the story as well.

Exactly. You start mashing buttons, you're dead. Facing a couple of enemies at a time is okay, but anymore and you definitely need to start luring them and somehow pick them off. And it's incredibly satisfying when you pull if off.

Getting the same thing. Really don't want to drop another $20 on Steam, but I also don't want to wait 5 days to play it contacting Humble.

They just say as a disclosure if you got the console version. If you got the PC version it should show up by 3AM EST 12 AM Pacific when it launches.

At least that's what I'm hoping ;_;

Sounds great, thanks for the impressions.
I suppose we should expect the console release towards the end of the year... At least it gives me time to finish a couple of Vita games in the backlog.

Ready to play! Steam says 2 hours, I hope GOG is on the same wavelength.

lol, perfect.

That's exactly what I am hoping for as well, but seeing that other have received a key already has me doubting.

All I get is the "If you requested a console version, you will be contacted when it is available for that platform" message.

I've been a backer since the beginning and I'm starting to feel a bit salty.

Got an email from Humble Bundle with the link to my key but still unable to get it, anyone in the same situation ?

I pre-ordered it 8 days ago.

I just received an email from Humble with a link to a Steam key, I had completely forgotten that I pre-purchased the game a while back. What a pleasant surprise.

is it still worth getting if I don't have a gamepad?
