That was a really cute short! I love Slippy's voice, haha. I like them all, actually. Also, PLOT. Consider me intrigued.

Still. Looking at the Corneria Citizens made me realize how little we've seen of them aside from Pepper , Bill and generic soldiers
I guess it's not surprising considering what type of game it is.

It was brief, but that was a welcome part of the short. The worlds of Star Fox have rarely been shown aside from being planets with stuff on them to blow up. Seeing a few shots of a cityscape is nice.

Between the three animated shorts for Kid Icarus Uprising, the various Pikmin CGI shorts and now this Star Fox short, I smell a Nintendo Animated Collection Blu-ray in our future
I could see them doing something similar to promote Zelda WiiU/NX, and eventually a Splatoon series of some sort.

I liked it except for the character animations.
It was nice to see. It'd be cool if in future games there was some sort of intro that showed a peaceful planet being invaded.

With the kirby reference in this Kirby Planet Robobot to now end with a post credits scene where General Pepper approacheshim akin to Nick Fury and recruits him to the team.

The CG work was all done by Orange, a really good CG anime studio.
That travel guide Slippy was reading has planets from Milky Way Wishes on the cover.
The short "Palutena's Revolting Dinner" (done in the same style as the Smash trailer) has Palutena taking a steamy bath, so sorry, it wins by default!
This is why they released this trailer on 4/20

Just saw it and I loved EVERYTHING oh my goodness
This was even better than the KI:Uprising shorts which I also adored. It's really nice to see this extra effort put into Star Fox. It's small, but I really loved it. I'm still holding onto to hope that they make a Star Fox animated show one day. My childhood dream stays alive!

Andross uses the "teleport device" mentioned in the short to summon other villians from far off worlds. Cut to a shadowy group that you only see faint familiarities of...then you see "him"
While I can't say for Zero, he was originally jsut a scientist so he probably wasn't always large. That was probably after his crazy experimentation
But he IS big after that
