I have played for months and can't remember this being a problem. But in general people get more team oriented once you start playing ranked (unlocks at lvl 25).

Make game-winning ult as Mercy on D right to push it to Overtime by rezzing 3 teammates, Hanzo gets play of the game with typical dragon ult. I'm so salty Blizzard.

Enjoying the fuck out of this on PS4 at the moment. Been playing with a friend in the Weekly Brawl to try and spread my time around, though while it seemed like a good idea at the time I think I'd rather just switch around during regular matches so I could spend bigger chunks of time with a character.
Will likely pick this up for PC down the line since I have friends on both platforms but I am super impressed with the PS4 performance and controls. Everything feels and looks pretty dang great. Had to turn my look sensitivity up a bit though as the default config seemed pretty low for what's going on in the game. Having tons of fun playing as Pharah. I always gravitated towards Soldier in TF2 so I latched onto her pretty fast.

Ay I like supports but they will rarely get any respect or highlights.

Not really teamwork. But atleast fight on the objective or atleast go to it.
By which team? Once people realise you do not win if you don't push, it will get better. Hopefully.

Any tips for this beta? Best starting character? Going to get some time with it later today.
Most straight forward character is Soldier 76. Basically CoD: The Hero.
If you've got time, go into the practice range and try out everyone.
Defending. Just played a match on the cowboy village and our team couldnt even leave the spawn. Getting rekt by snipers who were already waiting the whole time.
Enemy team who can watch in you spawn is really a no go for me in shooters.

It's so good. Omg i wasn't expecting this, but it's very addictive.
My two favorites might be Tracer and Widowmaker, but i didn't have time to try all the heroes. But i can see that each hero is very unique with different abilities.
Performance is very good, i love level and characters design and art style. Gameplay is just so much fun. But i am dying a lot lol, it looks like there are a lot players from previous betas playing rn. And players that are new don't have a chance against them... oh well. Too bad i won't have much free time this whole week.

Played for about an hour on PC last night....
My god the game is fun, I haven't had this much fun with a multiplayer shooter since when TF2 originally came out.
Love it!
Also so awesome that the beta is basically the full game, all heroes, maps and game-modes included. Surprised to see that it was only around 7GB total download.
Would be awesome if they let us keep progress and unlocks come release day.

My favorite 5 so far are probably Phara, Lucio, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, and Reaper.
Lucio is some seriously awesome character/class design. I just need to get better at actually hitting shit with his sound gun

I've played on Pc, but am kind of wanting it on ps4. Does this game work well on consoles?

I had no luck with D.VA at all.
I shout 20 shots into a Tracer and she literally didn't lose any health.
Felt pretty stupid at that point, but eh, 20 tickrate and lag will do that I guess.
Yeah it's strong AF. But her ultimate isn't that great, she's squishy AF, small clip size, range is short too, and her damage output isn't the highest.
no crate luck last night, don't even care that it's getting wiped now. Gimme another chance at those early levels.
Last night It definitely felt like it was matching full teams vs solo queue. I mean I was in a match by myself against 5 at one point. 'Waiting room' skirmishes are always skewed toward one team and I watched one go on for 10+ minutes before I just left as team 2 wasn't filling up.
Even just grouping with 1 other person made it far, far easier to win but I didn't have enough uninterrupted playtime to do more than 2 matches with a friend. Tonight I'll try and get a group going, I noticed some of my longtime WoW friends have the game. That's the nice thing about this game, there's a subset of people who play every Blizzard game and it's fun catching up with them.

D.VAs damage rate has a huge drop off relatively quickly. Couldn't get the hang of her either.

That's Dva and she doesn't have any health outside of the mech. She's super easy to kill at that point.

Totally lost track of time playing this last night. So far, Zarya is an early contender for my favorite character. I like the rocket launcher girl whose name I can't recall, and Lucio is pretty great too.
I want to like the tank robot guy, but my timing on shifting to turret mode is terrible. Damn near every time I do it, someone comes out of nowhere and just destroys me.

Mei is still my queen.
Honestly I couldn't get the hang of any of the tank characters. Winston felt like the only one I could play decently and I still got slaughtered a lot as him. Definitely need some practice there.
Also did Zarya's shields always go away that fast?
