I was online then, and only thing that was commented a bit was the 50/50 split between action and exploration/puzzles which was different from U1's main influence Tomb Raider, but ND activley promoted they really wanted that kind of action approach.

Uncharted has, at this point, arguably eclipsed Gran Turismo as Sony's most popular IP. Naughty Dog may be done with the franchise, but I'll be legitimately shocked if Sony doesn't pass the reins to another developer... and I'm not just saying that because I want a Sully prequel trilogy to happen.
I didn't start anything, though, I called out shitty posts. The only thing happening here is a dumb pile up of bandwagoning people that didn't even follow up the conversation before in the slightest. I do love how half my supposed "wall of shame" was just me arguing with a guy that thought that only Uncharted got a certain type of criticism, which I replied that no, Uncharted is not the only one that got that criticism. That guy got really pissed and put me on ignore without presenting a single argument.

Nit sure what some are hoping from with this game. It won't be some magical game that everyone clearly views better than 2. Plenty of people are still going to like 2 over this one. That said it's still probably going to win gaf GOTY.

He sent it to me. It's from a location seen in the story trailer but his video is that location shooting gameplay so it's kind of a spoiler if you may.
I thought it was unncessary. I thought he'd send me a video of something from Madagascar or the PSX demo area.

Agreed on all fronts mate. Personally I'm thrilled that Uncharted became the landmark Playstation series as it caters to my taste; Though the racing genre is dying down, I believe GT can come back strong if it gets its identity right - not with Sport, but probably with the next numbered game.
I expect Sony to let the series continue in some form with another (hopefully great) developer. A Sully prequel trilogy would be beautiful man

Also find it weird that people are jumping all over Jim. I personally think the Uncharted series is ok. Even if Uncharted 4 is AHMAZING it would still probably be at most an 8.5 to me because I don't really like a lot of what makes Uncharted Uncharted even if it was the best version of that thing. I'll play it, but really it would have to something really out there and un-Uncharted for me personally to get really excited for it.

If we go with this last bit about posts being unnecessary, so are plenty of the same replies that call him out by saying "get out of here", "stop this", or any other comment that tries to shame an already very prolonged series of replies. Any form of media that gets all 8-10 scores no one should concern themselves with quality of said media as obviously it is well crafted. This obsession with where it will finish on Metacritic is as silly as trying to dissect what makes a game a 7.8 versus a 7.9.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there will be at least one more Uncharted, just not from ND.
If the IP still succeeds without ND, there could be even more.
We'll see, but I can't imagine that they won't try at least one more game and just let this big franchise die.

The thirst for meltdowns is strong with this one, like holy shit. If just a tenth of all your posts in this threads were meltdowns from idiots it would have made the UC3 review thread look tame in comparison.
Never happened, the first scale never existed in videogames world.
More so, today people are more reasonable towards a game that didn't get a 9.
