I beat both TR games and besides core gameplay which I consider to be better then UC2/3, everything else cant even compare to UC games especially dialogue and story.

I personally consider UC2 even better then Last of Us and cant imagine that ND fucked up that badly that its possible for TR to be better game.

I beat both TR games also and I have to agree with you. I just reread the IGN review of ROTR and im literally laughing out loid. "Strong Villians" BAHAHAHAHAH. The wonky aiming alone in the xbox one version bars it from being AAA
 
Any asian version out yet? We had a long weekend starting last Thursday in my country. Been searching here and there but no luck...... :(

Nope, zmart was more expensive than i thought 1us dollar= 1000 pesos (that's to be expected though)
I bought it on ebay, the total price was 95000 if I'm not wrong.

You are assuming UC4 is the same as UC2/3. Naughty Dog up their game a lot with this one. Open level design with various approaches, verticality on its best, better platforming, melee, stealh is fully viable, vehicle gameplay, way better gunplay/hit reaction, etc...

It's the gameplay. Reading her reviews that's what it comes down to, that and somehow her fascination with ROTR story and villains (which lets be honest E.L. James has done better work than Rhianna Pratchett when it comes to characters, which is disappointing considering who her dad was. She is capable of better and has done better.)

I'm curious too. I don't think there's even a single area that RotTR actually tops UC4 for me personally, aside from maybe the Tombs themselves. But story, characters, level design, combat, controls, fluidity of movement, animations, hit detection, cover system, destruction, competency of AI, combat scenarios, graphics, weapon feedback, actual aiming, locations, variety etc, UC4 bests it in every one of these categories, mechanically and with respect to gameplay systems especially.

I'd actually argue RotTR was a regression compared to TR with respect to actual aiming and gunplay. It's just not responsive enough and instead suffers from heavy input lag and poor analogue acceleration.
 
That Beyond impression video is shitty as hell. Reviewers stay rushing thru games and wonder why they miss out on so much within the game

Which is weird because UC4 is basically TR2013/ROTTR gameplay
but better
 
Having played and beaten both U4 and RotTR... There is no way in hell TR is better. Even gameplay. U4's animations, climbing, movement, shooting, it's all better than TR's.

Don't even get me started on the story and characters. U4 is so much better in that regard.

I'm itching to play both games. From all the video clips I've seen and my experience with the U4 beta there's no third person shooter TOUCHING U4 in terms of melee comat, animation, and gun play. Like it's not even close. I'm surprised that games like GTA V got a pass on that. I mean if you're spending that much time in the game shooting stuff, I would have hoped for a significantly better gun play. Not sure why Rockstar didn't leverage a little of Max Payne 3 in their shooting.
 
The elegance of stealth is matched only by the smoothness of gunplay. Uncharted 4’s shooting is sublime--a return to form after Uncharted 3’s somewhat sluggish aiming. Gunshots crack with mechanical impact as your aiming reticle widens and narrows in response to movement and recoil. Guns feel powerful and unwieldy, but tameable. Controlled, short bursts pay off with deadly accuracy, but even sustained automatic fire isn’t useless. Hip-firing is valid up close, as covering fire while moving to a new position, and while swinging to close the distance. Smooth animation and responsive movement tie these elements together to elevate the series’ mobile, acrobatic, cover-based shooting to a place of distinction. Whether climbing, sneaking, shooting, or swinging, Uncharted 4 is an unbridled joy simply to play.

Leave Lucy alone she can think Lara is better than drakes adventure all she wants. She is entitled to her own opinion. In the end theyre both just murderers.

Eh, I guess Tomb Raider just resonated with the IGN reviewer more. She might be in the minority with her opinion, but I'm in the minority in thinking Speed Racer is one of the best movies ever. Sometimes certain works speak to individuals in a different way than the majority.
