Considering EVO became EVO in 2002(according to its wiki page at least), Justin was 16 or 17 at the time!
Everyone shifting from Daigo after his terrible performance recently. Beating Sabin isn't much of an achievement.

One Mike "Miek Russ" Ross asked him "hey Justin why do you have the 15 on there?"

JWong took Alex/Guile to grand finals in Canada last weekend.
Justin probably count his Battle By the Bay 2001 win as his first EVO win, Battle By the Bay didn't become EVO until 2002 and he was 16 by then.
Also, lots of FGC characters in this video, some are barely recognizable, some with weird ass "strategies" lol.

Not really in DOA5 his brother usually can beat him and the top in that game they all trade places. It's probably the one game where it's fluid where the top is. JC akira WAXED everybody.

i admire players like sonicfox and Ryan Hart for being able to perform exceptionally in a variety of games
i used to want to be like that, but i don't have the time to be as good as i want to be in multiple games honestly. id probably play namco if I dropped vf, truly wish SC scene were stronger
