You don't need to tell me, it's bonkers. Yet, there it was, felt it with my own thumbs. I've got one of the best external hard drives, WD My Book Studio with sequential read of 140-150 MB/s, seq. write of 110-130 MB/s.
 
These run to 30th - watch my luck as I don't buy any and then on the 31st RDR is announced as BC.

( I know it's coming eventually - but usually they become BC once I've decided against buying them in a sale )

The deals aren't all as great on the European market unfortunately, certainly not -80% for some games that are labeled as such.
I may get Asura's Wrath this time, I keep hesitating each time it gets on sale. It's 8€ now, not the lowest it's been, but maybe good enough. With the hope it will be supported by BC of course.

I think we should all stop pretending that leak was real, it was full of mistakes. Plus they never put GWG the week after they've been on sale (hell I can't remember any GWG that was on sale in the previous month, closest was Civ Rev iirc).

The GWG should come this week so let's wait and see.

Oooh, XCOM 2 looked interesting, it's PC only though, is this one worth picking up to try it out?

Massive 360 sale looks good too, I've heard Tekken Tag 2 needed a pass for online though, does anyone know if that still applies to the digital version? It's not like you can sell the game digitally, so it shouldn't do, right?

Is the bolded thing an hint for June's GWG? :)
Ducktales was on sale (70% off) last month though. XCOM is a good candidate, especially considering it hasn't been on sale since last summer.

Magic 2012? That was GWG ages ago so most players should own it. A good game (100%'ed it excluding DLC) but they release a new one every year and the last one is F2P. I'd like to go back to 2013to complete the last achievements (unless it deletes my save again).
 
If xcom is true I'll be super excited. Loved that game. Have it on everything u can have it on. To now have it on the X1 is great (if true)

I think we should all jumping to conclusions and reel it in a bit. I dont know what leak you are talking about I read it in reference to just the games.

But those games are only on one leak that's obviously fake.

Even just going by list of games it's obviously fake as Bioshock has already been GWG. And RDR being GWG this week rules that out aswell as they have never put a game on sale then made it GWG within a month of each other.

I noticed absolutely zero difference in input lag with Black Ops when I swapped the game from the internal drive to my SSD. I made a quick and dirty recording but it doesn't even seem to be worth sharing because the results look identical. I think the actual "problem" is xb1 controllers have a huge deadzone on the triggers.

Do BC games run better on external SSD? Ive read about some frame-rate problems with Dark Souls on Xbox One BC and I thought about buying an SSD to avoid that problem.

It wasn't the triggers where I noticed the difference, but the aiming with the right stick. Same sensitivity of 3, but felt tighter and had more control when on the internal.
Honestly I'm just as shocked as you guys. I'm not a computer genius but I know my way around, I know how some things work. USB3.0 shouldn't make a difference here over the SATAII, I know that.

I did a quick vid too on my iPhone with the slow motion video, I'm filming the thumbstick and screen. Not seeing any difference.
 
so remind me again, is it microsoft doing the work or are the developers helping? seeing a firaxis game on there gives me hope for civ rev

I took the time to go through and move all my 360 saves into the cloud last year. Now they are all available no matter which console I'm on. Time consuming but you only have to do it once and then just pick the cloud as your storage when/if you start a game on the real 360.

MS does the work but it's up to the publisher to allow it to be released and when. People like to blame MS for certain games not appearing but in many cases it isn't their fault. I'm convinced Rockstar is holding RDR back on purpose, for example, probably to make some kind of E3 announcement.
 
Speculation here but I think people might be onto something with a surprise GWG @ E3.

Ybarra, GWG xbox wire post etc are hyping it up to celebrate GWG's third anniversary, but none of these games really celebrate it in a way it should.

1st Anniversary (June 2014):
Dark Souls
Charlie Murder
Street Fighter 4 (additional game)

2nd anniversary (June 2015):
They announced that from July onwards they will be releasing two games a month on XB1 instead of the usual 1.


This third anniversary just feels like a normal month unless they have something to announce at E3. Maybe another surprise GWG, or an announcement they're increasing the 360 GWG's to 3 a month?

Yea could be, hopefully they'll throw in some extra, nice stuff at E3. I love "available now" announcements, even if small like an extra GwG.
