Warriors not trading Thompson for Love, and then the Cavs trading Wiggins for Love, had an enormous effect on the history of the NBA.

Wiggins wouldnt have helped much, he is too young to be much of a factor for Cavs this past two years. They should have traded him for someone a hell of a lot better than Love.

Clear the Cavs can't hang with GS if they want to run and gun. They'll need to goon it up like next year. Unleash Mozgawd

Them game 1 overreaction lol. As much as I hate to bring them up, OKC did get dragged a lot worse than this by SA and we know how that turned out.

He came into a cleveland roster with 3 #1 draft picks and cap space and was the driving force between trading away two of those picks and cap space for Kevin Love, a defensive liability.

GM Lebron is an idiot. Thanks for Wiggins.

To be fair, he, like a lot of people, didn't expect the Warriors to become an all time great team at the time. I thought the trade was a decent idea but looking back on it now I definitely wouldn't do it again.

Yes it's one game, but a lot of the things people anticipated coming in, namely that Kyrie, Tristian and Love (starters, no less) were going to be huge liabilities against the Warriors were all born true. Not sure how much you can expect that to change over the course of the next 3-4 games.

Curry and Thompson is 8 for 27 and GS still won by 15pts.

As expected, the bench is going to be the difference. Warriors bench is just so much better than the Cavs.

Cavs are fucked worse than I thought. Getting blown out is one thing, but getting blown out despite Curry and Thompson barely in double figures is brutal. Might get swept.

Man, this game ugh.. Not sure if Cavs did a good job defending Clay/Curry or if they just had a bad night. Regardless the best chance for them to steal a game is when those two aren't shooting the lights out.

I wanted to believe this year Lebron would finally fulfill his destiny of bringing a chip to Cleveland.

maybe Kyrie will learn how to play defense on the flight back to Cleveland

It doesn't matter. The prospect of playing with Lebron James in addition to such a talented young core sells itself. they had trade assets. They had youth. They had upside. They had cap space. And they had talent.

Now they have the 3rd oldest team in the league

You can't teach the hate that Westbrook has in his heart. Even when they were getting worked by Miami in the 2012 finals he was full steam ahead.

The best records of all time always win it all. Pretty sure the top five records at least all won the chip. Basketball doesn't really surprise you in that respect. We already know how this ends.

easy.
Curry and Thompson go 0-40 for the next 4 games.

I mean, if we're talking about reading too much into one game...

Curry and Klay won't play this shitty again
but then again, the bench won't play this good again, step it up Splash Brothers

but huge difference to last year, OT the first game

except this was in a game where curry and thompson were cold. SA stars were not cold that game.

I dont expect the Splash Bros to shoot this poorly for the rest of the series..

Hell OKC blew GS a few times like this. This game was mostly close up until that bench explosion. If Steph and Klay are this bad again Cavs might take game 2. Shaun Livingston jumpers are not gonna win the chip for you.

I know it was at home, and I'm not the most learned bball guy but if Warriors bench can beat the Cavs then idk.

I'm rooting for the Warriors but even then I don't really wanna see a blowout.

Yeah, you guys were right. It was wishful thinking on my part that the Cavs would actually make this a series.
