I mean, neither he nor Lue are great coaches IMO, I'm not sure Blatt would have made a bit of difference here (and it's sort of telling that the guy who took a team to the Finals just one season ago didn't sniff another coaching job this offseason). The Cavs biggest problem isn't coaching, it's roster construction. They are not equipped to compete with a team like Golden State.
Lebron wanted to have a hallmark moment and it backfired. he pound the rock a lot tonight and took bad shots off the dribble.

Thankfully this isn't a 1 game series. Of course Steph and Klay aren't going to continue to play this bad but the Cavs bench is also not going to continue to be outscored 45-9 or whatever it was. JR Smith had one of his daydream games that happens from time to time. Cavs were pretty sloppy too. I'm alright. I'll be downtown Sunday night ready to bounce back.

Who will guard Livingston, Barnes, and Andre when they are on the court at the same time? Irving will be abused by one of them. Who, other than Thompson will get rebounds and play defense as a big? Frye?!

If they do pull it off, it will take a complete turnaround.

Good game warriors! Probably not as fun for neutrals but that thunder warriors series was one of the greatest of all time. This was a good game.

Lebron going to have to take over soon or let Kyrie take over. Somebody going to have to make a stand. Love can't really match Draymond, might have to play less.
Love outscored and outrebounded Draymond...

Blatt wouldn't have made two shits worth of difference
If anything we probably would've lost to the Raps with him

did you see the rotations Lue put out?
a dolphin randomly selecting players would've done a better job.
Give Blatt some respect, he's not this bad.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
Do you guys honestly think LeBron would leave Cleveland again or is that just reached meme status? I just don't see it happening. GM LeBron will just bring people to him. I think he's dead set on bringing a Chip to his hometown.

What's even more crazy is that Lebron looked totally human against this defense. He was getting everything he wanted last year.

Oh yeah, they also shot more free throws.

No LeBron is staying but I will bet that Irving/Love and most of the team is gone after this season.

Lebron always does this in the finals. Completely loses trust in his teammates, tries to do it all and team loses. I thought he had learnt from last year that he can't do it on his own, but obviously not.
What? This is totally the opposite of what he does. lol

Size differences, for instance. Not saying the Warriors play bad D. Sorry if that's the impression I gave.

It's just jokes, no worries. Bogut is the only real defensive liability they have out there playing real minutes. It's a shame too, because he's been great the last couple of years. Fantastic help defender and shot blocker.

I still think the Warriors were genuinely shocked how lax the defense was on them. They rushed wide open layups because they thought Adams, Ibaka, Durant, Westbrook, and Roberson were still trying to block them.

Oh Love will definitely be gone guaranteed. Irving has been great though I doubt he leaves.

Unless GM Lebron wants to get even older and trade Irving for CP3.

Did you even watch the game tonight because this certainly didn't happen in this game. It will happen next game though.

bish gets all the credit :)
It's just Cleveland's luck that when they have a legitimate shot at a title, a potential all time great team emerges. Oh well, the Clowns will be great in 5 years with Lord Hue taking them to the promised land.

It would be the greatest thing ever to read this again if a miracle happens and the Cavs win

It could happen, but I think that the Cavs absolutely need the Warriors to play poorly for that to happen. Like them playing a perfect gameplan isn't enough, they need the other team to shit the bed. That never bodes well.

That's the impression I got..There were so many open backdoor cuts that you just didn't see with the Thunder too.

Last year he didnt have another guy taking over 20 shots, Irving was like 7 -23

Last year they slowed it down running and gunning with the Warriors is a mistake

Being a Cav fan, I've already accepted the inevitable
It doesn't even hurt anymore

Lebron was playing super lax too though after the first quarter, often not even looking to make a shot, or any kind of decent play with the ball.

Well that was a weird ass game.

Cavs D was unsurprisingly bad, especially against the Draymond @ center lineups. Their bigs simply aren't good on that end. Hopefully Kerr keeps leaning on that and doesn't get freaked out by the occasional Tristan Thompson offensive board or Kevin Love post up. Don't think they can keep up when GS goes small as long as Lue sticks with guys like Frye and Love.

Would like to see even less Varejao and Bogut going forward. Lean on Draymond as much as possible and maybe spot him with Ezeli.

LeBron was awful scoring the ball in last years finals. His scoring efficiency was shit and so was Cleveland's points per possession.

I really can't see LeBron ever leaving Cleveland unless he wins a title there

Even if he doesn't but stays with them he'll always be loved but if he leaves again they'll hate him forever

If the Spurs have taught us anything it's that blowing a team up after a playoff letdown is not conducive to long term success. You keep the big 3 and get better pieces to fill in. Hell, the Heat got Ray Allen to come off the bench after their first finals loss together. No JR, none of Lebron's friends clogging roster spots (lol James Jones), Mozgov is a great trade piece if you're not going to play him.

Keep Delly/Shump/Frye. Get a younger version of RJ. This team still has a 3 year window assuming an East team doesn't get an insane upgrade through draft or trade.

Lue just said that the Cavs played great and shots just didn't fall and they need to keep doing what they did.

This looks like a sweep.

Yup, but if I learned anything this post season, it aint ova til its ova. OKC blow 3-1 lead, spurs don;t make it to WCF, Raps actually beat Cavs twice in ECF. Anything can happen.
