Also, if last year was any indication, the amount of front running (if you can even call it that when you're tied in a series) by people after merely evening things up 2-2 will reach critical levels. That is something to look forward to for sure.

So you're mad that fans in attendance are actually supporting the team?

Dude.

What part of "hilarious" do you not understand. Not mad or condemnation, just hilarity. Am I allowed to laugh?

Is this the same Klay Thompson that hit a record number of threes on the road with the pressure of their backs being against the wall? But by all means, let hope creep back in, that will only make the eventual fall that much worse.

I'm not saying they shouldn't do it or are not allowed to, just that it's absolutely hilarious to me.
I mean he's had 1 good Finals game in 8 tries. There's hope and there's conclusions and hypothesis based on facts...

OKC's offense self destructed. Game 7, 13 missed 3's in a row. Their defense wasn't the issue, throwing up bricks and watching Westbrook play Hero ball was.

The Cavs have to continue to play full court. One can't shut down against a team like GSW. They have too much offensive power.

Durant was just as guilty of hero ball.

Cavs must be doing something right if the brothers have been neutered for the entire series.
They want the other Warriors to beat them.

I think the Warriors have the same defensive philosophy against Lebron and the Cavs.

So far it is 2-1 in terms of role players for the Warriors/Cavs.

Time to see if Kerr adjusts some of what they are doing on offense and defense or if he just trusts his guys and plays the same game.

Agreed. For the Cavs their bench and role players aren't as good or consistent. I don't think you can count on JR 2 games in a row.

They are going to need Frye and Love to contribute big.

Usually you need a star to step up on the road.

So far the stars are 0-3.

I think the Warriors are mentally tougher but I am not counting the Cavs out. I have not seen them overcome adversity yet but that's when champions are born. You can't predict it until it happens.

Examples please?

This took me about five minutes of CTRL+F and selecting at random, all in response to others posting analytics:

Who cares? Those are just blanket, contextless numbers. How many of those series were actually closely contested?

You're overhyping that record. It means nothing here, the series started 0-0. Cavs were in this last game mostly. If they clean up their turnovers and figure out that bench they could easily take this one. You only have to win one game at a time.

Lol. Im so tired of this analysis.

Can't wait till the games start and people can quit exaggerating with these hot takes. But its probably going to get worse. Sigh.

This is so cherry picked. After LeBron had that hot start they instantly started doubling him every time in the post. He will always pass out of that to an open shooter. This goes hand in hand with why they've been so hot from 3.

Idc how long its taken you when you haven't produced anything.

Calling numbers contextless is not ignoring them, its acknowledging them and calling them contextless. Saying that a regular season record doesn't particularly matter in a 0-0 series isn't ignoring it. Don't know what the hell your third quote is ignoring and the last quote is explicitly discussing the stat.

Do you know what ignore means or?

The finals are trash, watch the presser.

Man, I can't imagine not watching an NBA Finals game. That's savage behavior.

I'll stream the press event on my iPad while watching the game on my television but that is horrible planning. Also, Bethesda's presser starts right after Game of Thrones. I bet there's no overlap between GoT fans and video game fans, right?

From another numbers standpoint, after getting their asses stomped for 7 games in a row, Cavs were due for a win against this team.

I feel like lashing out at Steve Kerr. You can't really hold it against Curry, he was out the majority of the first 2 rounds and has been up and down since. He's come through in the clutch, but that's been about it. But Stevie Kerr man, these blowouts suck the fun out of all the days between games. You can't really discuss adjustments and who is better than whom when everything is just "well, they gotta play better." Last 3 losses by blowout now? Everyone in the world talking about how the Cavs are going to come out aggressive in game 3 and you have to match that and they're out there looking like abject failures.

I wonder which one will go longer

Sony's press conference are usually 90-120 minutes, aren't they? And it had to be Sony's conference opposite Game 5, didn't it? The one conference I actually care about (well, I do love Zelda also but there's no surprises coming from Nintendo).

I feel like either last year or 2014 went over 2 hours and was sniffing 2 and a half hours

could be remembering that incorrectly

Did you guys realize that Sony's press conference starts at the same time as Game 5? What the hell!?

Which interests you more, a 20+ point victory or a nostalgia filled conference?

He's been back for what, 12 games now? His first game back he set a record for points in OT and everyone was saying how great he was because his first game back and he does that. 11 games later and somehow "yeah but he was hurt!" is a valid excuse?

It's impossible to choose. Video games and sports are my two passions so missing a major event in either field is torturous. But if Beyond Good & Evil 2 is there...

I think Curry is still hurt. That means he's going to be more inconsistent since he's not moving as well as he used to. He's not injured, though, so his sore knee is no excuse for poor play, especially when so many of his mistakes are mental.

I guess.

But you can also look at the rest of their playoffs or even just last series and realize how much better the Cavs can be at home versus on the road. They were setting records one game and getting ran out the gym the next and the only thing that changed was the location.

I don't put much stock in the games with Golden State before this series other than Game 1 of the last Finals. Those other ones were literally Kyries first games back.

What's interesting to look at is how they seem to actually only need Kyrie versus needing him and Love.

Well, we haven't seen the Cavs full strength minus Kyrie yet. Hiding one minus defender is much easier than hiding two so there's a chance the Cavs would improve no matter which player was out.

Steph and Klay doubters will make it even sweeter when the 2 return to normal. The suggestion that the finals pressure is somehow the reason for them being off is ridiculous.

Eh the main appeal for E3 anyways is the reactions to me. The press conferences themselves suck, but its seeing all the gifs and GAF going "HOLY SHIIIIITTT""" that makes it worth it. And the meltdowns. Oh man.

...Actually I think i just convinced myself to watch the press conference. Damnit. Depending on how game 4 goes, though. If its 3-1 I'll just check up on the game every once in a while, if its 2-2 I'll probably watch the game as priority and then check the GAF chat to see whats up.

Basketball shoes are in a sad state of affairs right now. Never been a fan of Currys, and yet somehow they're outselling everyone. Durants are trash, Lebrons are trash, etc.

Have to say the Kyrie PE that he wore last night wasn't bad though.

Melos renewed my faith in basketball shoes. Last year's are my fav all purpose bball shoes to date.

Yeah she's part of my plan to get into the Curry family.

She's gorgeous for sure. Doc Rivers's daughter is hot too, as long as you can convince yourself not to see Doc in her face.

Maybe, but what's your reasoning in that case?

I wouldn't be that shocked in Curry's case, he plays best when he's just having fun and looks like he's just goofing around. The pressure may be changing his game a little.

Maybe but Kyries alot better at creating offense than KLove and he has a far more favorable matchup. Cavs want to make Steph work on both ends and putting Love 1v1 up against a perennial DPOY candidate doesn't seem wise. Kyrie on a night where everythings going can get you 50+ on anybody(ask the Spurs). What exactly is Kloves ceiling offensively?

Idk how its ridiculous at all. People have gone at lengths to prove its not the actually the Cavs D slowing them down(even though I dont buy it) and its the same story after 8 games. What else would it be exactly?

Problem is that if the Sony conference is lit then GAF will be down for both E3 and the Finals threads haha

The shots are open, kind of like how Green was open in game 2 and hit them and he was open in game 3 and missed them.

Mike Prada says putting LeBron on Draymond was the key to fixing the Cave' defense, the way Durant on Dray was in the WCF.

Also I guess communicating better, which might be a function of playing at home. If the Dubs do play big, I'd hope they try to run LeBron off screens before they get into the Curry-Green screen action. That and slip screens more often to confuse the defense. But still, Curry's gotta be better. The offense being better will help wear down the Cavs.

I dont even see why it matters. This finals is boring asf to me. Guess Im a little alone on that, but just give GS the trophy and fast foward us to NFL preseason ffs man.

lol whats the reason then? SHOOK is why they are struggling

Thunder defense was much more intense than Kyrie / adams/Ibaka guarding Steph on switches

I think JR is guarding Klay too, these two need to wake the fuck up

Random question but I play nba 2k16 and wanted to know is there a site that list what sneakers each player wears for home and away games? I was trying to edit the players sneakers to match their real life counterparts.

Steph Curry released some ugly shoes and people are ruthlessly mocking them on Twitter
