Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 2016 Thread [*LIVE*] (No childish commentary allowed)

Whats even the point of having the twitch chat active with that many viewers.

Atleast I got a reason now for keeping my Wii U. This game looks really fun to chill around in.

Crazy that all they are doing has nothing with the story to do.

It's all side quest stuff and exploring.

This game is huge.

Not really one for open world designed games, but Zelda definitely looks pretty fun. I missed most of the stream, but will we be able to get geared up as the game goes on?

I really enjoy how open it is so far and all the unique ways to do things. But I feel like nothing is really being accomplished and there is literally no story really being shared which is bothering me the wrong way.
We haven't even seen a single ruppee so I guess towns and shops are no longer a thing either :/

I like what Nintendo has been doing with the overworld, being able to jump and climb, and the open endedness in what you can do. But damm this game feels empty, if I played this game for a day I'd literally feel like nothing was accomplished, even if I did 10 shrines and found a super strong weapon.

edit:
there's a mute button..

I want to hear the game tho.

I don't really need more bosses. Just memorable ones. 8-10 are more than enough, even if this is a 50-100 hour game, as long as each one bookends a major dungeon that feels really unique and special.

Well yes 8-10 is fine by me, I just meant in that sense that if the rumor about there being 4 major dungeons, that I would still like more bosses than 4.

This has to be the worst live presentation i have seen on any E3. Previous treehouse streams were so great, now we have annoying random babbling combined with annoying random gameplay.

Hope this 4 dungeon talk is false, especially with the world being this big. The open world stuff looks okay, but they've yet to show me why I'm going to keep at it. Maybe 4 dungeons you return to and chip away at over time? I'm reaching lol. But hope it's false. I play Zelda for the dungeons.

Yeah I haven't heard that rumor. I... can't see it being true. That would be super disappointing.

I miss the days where Nintendo was actually at e3 and not this twitch stream crap

This is legitimately the Zelda RPG I've wanted for fucking ever. I mean we still have yet to see what sidequests or NPC interaction looks like, but... I mean... fuck dude. This looks great.

They specifically said they didn't want to spoil story or additional info, we have literally a year left. You'd need towns and cities to store, upgrade or sell equipment anyway.

Without saying it, the plateau area is basically the beginning area, with some very high level enemies sprinkled about, which is alot like xenoblade

It is somewhat interesting to me that they still only have 3 base hearts. Wonder if there won't be that many heart containers in the game?

Asking here since other thread is slow.
Do chest change appearance based on rare level? We've seen wooden, and ones that were golden, and silver.

This game feels like a complex and thoughtful RPG, but also with the same care and attention to detail as Nintendo often provides. It's a perfect blend.

Think I will be playing some Zelda later today. Head back to my almost complete Minish Cap or Oracles of Ages save files or start a new game in WWHD, TPHD or MM3D?
