Hey I liked the last two books. Like where they've gone a lot more than the show (though I still enjoy the show).

High five! Though, in the defense of Feast and Dragons haters, I didn't love them until I read them a second (and third) time. They're some of Martin's best work but there not nearly as accessible as the first three books.

Readers haven't been excited about Song of Ice and Fire for decades. The last two books sucked, and Martin gleefully talking about how he's incorporating new plot twists into the story gives me no hope that he has anything planned or that we'll get a satisfying conclusion.

Whenever the next book comes out.

Some readers still love the books. And the series will be my favorite fantasy series ever even if no more books come out.

Foster and GS have had some issues, but Foster usually favors road teams and refereed the clinching game last year.

Excellent! I'm supposed to go to Simpsons Bar Trivia Sunday Night (with my ears closed so no one spoils the GoT finale) so I really hope I don't have to cancel to watch G7. Also, my heart couldn't take another game.

so tonight should hopefully be a just let the teams play ordeal then. At this point I just want a great close game to the end....nail biting both ways.

Just saw this stat on Twitter: Draymond has defended the most field goal attempts at the rim out of anyone in the playoffs(by a lot) and has allowed the lowest percentage out of anyone in the top 20.

I imagine Cavs are going to challenge Draymond hard early and attempt to get him into foul trouble. 2 quick fouls on Draymond would be disastrous for the Warriors.

People hating the cavs on neogaf smh
All in tonight boys get this to game 7
The world hates you so use that as fuel.

So youre implying a statistical analysis is hate. wtf. People are down on the Cavs and dont think they are going to win. That isng even out of the question

Warriors fans have this weird need to feel disrespected, even though everyone and their mother thinks theyre going to win the series and are probably going to be crowned as the greatest team of all time (or at least one of)

Well the talk for the last year has kinda all been about how the Warriors are only good because of the era, how their title has an asterisk because of injuries, how every former team would beat them, etc.

But I don't think Gully was implying he felt disrespected, just that the Cavs are actually favored tonight.

I shouldnt have quoted Gully cause he's a smart dude who foesnt usually fall into line with that, but last year was legit, the cavs had a billion injuries last year, and speaking purely, the cavs have regressed this year while the warriors have gotten better. Last year it was legit, they kind of did get lucky, but no one has been against them this year

sorry Gully for that, needed to get my hot take out of the way

I don't think the Warriors have been disrespected for this year's accomplishments (a little too much hype if anything). But the accomplishments from last season...completely different story..

There's no need to apologize. It's all for good fun here. I will say though that when people say "_____ fans here all say _____." More often than not they're usually thinking of a post from someone who isn't a fan either team. I think most of us Cav/Warriors fans are being careful not to say anything ridiculous so as not to jinx our respective teams.

Tim Donaghy is a desperate crook who is going to pop up any time there is a remotely controversial NBA story so he can get his shitty name back in the news. I figured people would stop humoring him by now.

Nah man its all a conspiracy!

League wants 7 games that why we always get 7 game finals every year!

Nervous about tonight. A game 7 loss in Oakland I can live with, but a trophy celebration on home court for the second year in a row would suck. Maybe, in a stunning move, Kevin Love will show up, because we need someone else besides Lebron and Kyrie to help in order to win. I can't see them putting up 41 each again or close to that (however, if they do, that would be one of the most epic things ever).

I want Klay to get the trophy. Without him, they don't win game 6 in OKC, and they aren't even in the finals.

He's played better than Steph this series as well.

Steph's due for a good game. Hope he just goes off tonight or Klay could go off and secure an MVP trophy.

pls Dubs

klay should have the trophy locked at this point......dudes been keeping the team in play along with draymond have some hot nights.

except game 3.......that was....bad for everyone. Steph did have that one good game this series though.

A game 7 would draw the type of ratings the league has never seen before. I think the refs are gonna make it happen tonight. Although GSW is almost perfect after losing a game so I wouldn't be shocked if they blow the Cavs out tonight. Either way it should be good.

http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-...about-the-legacy-of-his-fathers-assassination

“Events at U.C.L.A. have been unsettling for everyone,” Kerr wrote to me in an e-mail asking to reschedule. “But for me it brought back memories of January 18, 1984 on the A.U.B. campus.” On that day, Malcolm Kerr, Ann’s husband and Steve’s father, was assassinated by members of Islamic Jihad, a precursor of Hezbollah, outside his office at the American University of Beirut, where he was president.

I do sense a bit of disrespect for the Warriors from some mainstream sports analysts. From Wilbon releasing an article about how analytics don't matter, to analysts bringing up "Oh, they could never beat that Bulls team though!" "The Showtime Lakers would kill them!"
