I see, I thought that was the new design since everyone kept posting it and I didn't notice the shirt in the trailer. Eh, both look good but the original does fit the character better. I'll never understand Capcom's approach to what's appropriate and what's not in this game.

Yeah, I hope they bring in more of the stage interactions. Really enjoyed those. Kinda nice demoralizing thing to do to someone also.
You will have to buy the alt/new stages. Premium costumes for non-DLC chars will also cost you (real) money.

They really should have. I tried this out for free at launch and got bored pretty quickly.. I might actually buy the game now with this update.
The season pass only unlocks the characters, Guile's stage, and a premium costume for each of the DLC characters. You'll still need to purchase (with Fight Money and/or real money):
- Variant stages (nighttime Shadaloo Base, nighttime waterfall, daytime Kanzuki Estate)
- Las Vegas stage
- Beach stage
- Karin's bikini costume
- All of the battle costumes

Kinda bullshit that you buy a "season pass" and it doesn't include all the content in the season. I hope this DLC practice doesn't gain traction with publishers.

Wait for the update first, might change people's opinions on the game. My only beef with the game right now is the matchmaking which apparently they're fixing.
In Capcom's defense they did stated a long time ago what was coming with the Season Pass, which were the DLC characters and their premium costumes, they were pretty clear with it.

Whoa. Good catch. Capcom getting that A+ for cameos in this update.
Personally I'd recommend buying it. The core gameplay is really, really, really good and it seems like this patch is going to drop a significant amount of missing content.

I get it, but then it's still disingenuous to call it a "season pass". Should have been Content Pack A or something. It's not like everyone that bought SFV or will buy the DLC read up on which contents are and aren't included. They look at "Season Pass" and assume you get it all.
