Balrog is going to be in the Street Fighter V June update on Friday

Wait, how exactly are these gonna work on this stage...?

Maybe there will only be a layer of foam at the surface where it meets the characters' calves, and the water itself transparent.

The pic of dead Laura (I hope someone SFMs an SF version of the gif) shows that we can see her underwater.

EDIT: NVM, saw the pic with Laura getting jump-kicked. Yeah I dunno, unless there's some kind of flicker effect that's not being captured by single-frame captures, can't see why they'd make an obstruction like that. People hated Gief's high fence & Sagat's palm tree in World Warrior.

I'm looking forward to play all this new stuff.

So this update has the following

Ibuki
Balrog
Stage Interactions added
Las Vegas Stage
Beach Stage
Alternate Stages
Full Store Finally Open - Access to all Premium Costume
Karin Premium Beach Costume
Cinematic Story Mode
Juri ans Urien Preview in Story
Targets/Daily Challenges
Better Matchmaking and less wait times

This is quite a big update nearly a relaunch. If only Capcom just waited until now to release this game. Hopefully if they deliver word of mouth improve the sales.
Are they going to include Daily Missions and stage alterations in this game update?

I didn't see Capcom mentioning this. Regarding "stage alterations", do you mean "Alternate Stages", which basically is the night or day version of an already existing stage with more or less background characters?

Lol, 100% guaranteed.
I honestly wouldn't mind it it was

- Introduced after a certain amount of time, like it always happened on this stage at the 60 second mark.

- Always happened in the same place at the same time.

- Doesn't cover a big area.

- Only caused white life, so no matter how much damage it did, it wouldn't kill.

Just make it extremely predictable. This would never fly with purist though. Like, if you knocked someone through the wall on the bustling side street stage. It would do 10% more damage to the hit you used to do so, and cause a hard knockdown. Nothing huge or crazy, and it rewards the player for getting you into the corner.

would fans/the competitive scene riot if Capcom implement stage hazard?
Capcom should start ignoring the competitive scene and focus on the majority of their fanbase when deciding what to include in the game because the interests of this tiny minority aren't the same than the ones of the other 99% of their userbase.

They already ruined the game removing the Arcade Mode and focusing the game on competitive multiplayer.

If they add stage hazards the competitive scene should stop being squareminded and to learn to play the game as it is.

It can be implemented in a subtle way that would add another layer of strategy, making the game less repetitive and more fun.

Wow that is a lot!
Will happily re-install the game on Friday and have a look.

So we're actually getting Daily Challenges too? Ok dope, I'm off of work until next Tuesday because of my birthday so this is perfect.

Haven't played the game since Guile launched, I played the first night, not much and didn't touch it since then.

No, that was a mistake by ign.

We have got to stop quoting that post. Neither daily challenges nor stage transitions are confirmed for Friday's update, unfortunately.

Just trying to stop the spread of misinformation so people don't end up disappointed/angry.

Yeah... that would be terrible. Game is great as is.

we can rename Street Fighter V to Bash V while we're at it

I really wish they would add a regular arcade mode. It's the easiest/fun way for a non-hardcore joe like me to get used to a new character. Survival is shit, locking yourself in training mode for hours is a bore, and getting destroyed using a character you're not familiar with in casuals is not fun at all.

What do you mean by stage interactions? Like the China street stage having an extra area? Is that really confirmed?

Story mode will be here in a few days.

I'm just gonna believe the rest of your post is a troll.

Can someone tell me why people even like arcade mode beyond the most facile argument of "it was there before and now it's not"?

It's just VS AI matches (don't get me wrong - VS AI should be in on its own). This game doesn't even have an arcade release. Basically any other single player mode is preferable to arcade mode.

It is illegal to Tag Fish in Tag Fishing Sanctuaries by law 38.36 of the GAF Wildlife Act

People are starting to add stuff that Capcom never confirmed, just to get mad when the patch drops. SMH

Once the premium store releases do we lose access to free Alex and Guile (unless we've lost them already: I've not played since Guile released)?

Yeah, those characters can be unlocked with Fight Money. (I believe it is 100.000 per character)
