It's a competent puzzler with an absurd amount of polish and gorgeous art. Short as hell though, like less than 3 hours.

On a serious note, that's a pretty quick turnaround, it only came out a few weeks ago. Still interested in playing it, though its Limbo pedigree is not nearly as much of a selling point for me as it seems to be for others.

Figured it would be this month after the trophies showed up. Before that I assumed it wouldn't be coming until a year from now. I have been able to avoid spoilers and gameplay so this is great. Hopefully the Play 2016 20% coupon will be usaable by then

It does look like MS at the very least helped with advertising, also MS have a longer relationship with the developer than Sony.

We have no idea about the deals that may or may not have taken place with this game.

All we do know is that MS seem to have a pretty good relationship with Playdead. No point speculating as to what may or may not have occured.

Aren't Playdead a small team?
Maybe they just wanted to get their feet wet and make a polished product so XB1 was prioritised first.

Game has been in development over 5 years, wouldn't surprise me if MS helped them out 5 years ago as they have history. Maybe they offered some financial support early on.

Development support can be seen as more important for relations than simply how long you have the game on your platform for.

Needless to say PS4 only owners NEED to buy this game, it's amazing. Go in blind if you can and make sure you play it with headphone or sound system cranked up.
