So I ended up following the gold as far as it would go. Suddenly, the side of the cave disappears, and I've clipped through the planet. I can see everything from below. I decide to hop through the missing cave wall, and I end up falling into a vast ocean under the planet. Now I'm slowing drowning.

Cool. Thanks.

\o/ off to space i go

Is there any way to look back on the path you've personally taken through the star map? I switched to free mode and it's just way more confusing to see where I've come from, I can't just pick a random star from where I am and see where the last system I was at is.

Is there any way to simply look at your star system history or see if denoted on the star map?

I don't know if anyone else encountered this, but I ran into a physics related bug.

I landed on a planet and when I exited my ship I was ragdolled and launched into the air like 3 miles away from where I landed, receiving fall damage. Thankfully I didn't die because the in-game timer said I was 9 minutes away from my ship by foot. What the hell.

I had a hostile animal charge me while I was using my jetpack and it launced me at least 50 yards back.

This seems to be an online feature... and may not be working well due to server load. But on the galatic map d-pad up to search, and then right on the D-pad to flip through the systems it finds.

If there's a system you really want to preserve the location of definitely set a waypoint. It seems that you can't do this from the system you're in which is annoying, but look at its name on your discoveries if you didn't name it and find it in free explore and you can select and hit Square to set a waypoint.

I don't think there is but I REALLY hope they add this. It's crazy that it isn't there to begin with.

That and some sort of compass or map to find the waypoints you've visited already on a planet.

Has anyone came across any badass ships yet? The designs are getting samey in this star system :|

There was one in my first star system that I really wanted, but didn't have enough units to buy it. I'm eventually going to go back and get it. It looked like the Manticore ship in Rebel Galaxy.

The one I have now is pretty nice, though.

I don't think it does need a recipe. Have you crafted an electron vapor? If you need suspension fluid, you can buy it. If it's not asking you to craft those first, you should have the ability to craft it.

Electron vapor? Hm I don't think so. I have both antimatter and Th9. When I click on an empty slot, shouldn't it at least show me the materials needed to craft one? That's why I feel like I don't even have the blueprint for the warp cell.

Well shit, so there is.

I'm currently 173334.4 Light Years away.

I thought I was close man, shit.

It feels like we need to absue black holes considering movement is like .1% of the entire thing even at this point...
so how do we go about abusing them!

Started another new game... to pay attention to tutorial and blueprints gained.

Need to get heridum and it's on the other side of this giant canyon

Great

The Heridium it points to isnt necessarily the heridium you have to get. Before knowing what it looked like I passed 6 or 7 pillars

No problem. I think if you're pressing up against a wall or cliff, your jetpack doesn't drain.

If you press square on an empty slot you don't have the option for electron vapor either? Does antimatter show up?

How do you get a new multitool?Just luck?

Most of the times, I've seen small settlements on planets carry 1 for sale(Camps that have 3 buildings you can enter). Some space stations may have them, if you have an atlas pass, sometimes you might find one behind those doors?

I had a planet that was just gold mound after gold mound. There was even what I would call gold towers. Just didn't want to spend hours collecting it.
There was no life on the planet at all. Just gold.

I think there's guaranteed ones in Space Anomalies that randomly crop up while travelling between systems.

Nada and Polo (I think are there names) will be in the room and there should be a little plinth that will open as you approach it with a new Multi-Tool in there.

Have you guys found the speed hack yet?
If you melee just before jetpacking you go really fast.
It has to be timed just right, and can take some getting used to.

I will cry if it gets patched. :(

If you visit points of interests or space anomalies should they show up, sometimes they are there. You have the option to swap out yours for a new one, for a price.

Should you chose to do so, pay attention to the new tool's slot number, what upgrades are already installed, and their placement. Upgrading your existing multitool is key, and aligning upgrades so they're in direct contact with the features you desire to upgrade on the tool's grid is necessary for the upgrades to take effect.

Hope that helps.

Have you guys met anyone yet? I just found a solar system that where planets had already been discovered by someone else. Happen to anyone yet? Somebody is nearby!

As much as I loved this game for the first few days, I'm now done with it.
I'm sick of the crafting and the graphics are not good, they definitely showed the PC version in all previews.

Ah. Just got a distress signal for one of the freighters or capital ships in the system, joined in with the pirates instead for the first time, stole a bunch of shit from the ship (over 150k worth in like 10 seconds) and only got aggro from the sentinels. Just barely made it back to the space station to get the heat off. Damn that was awesome. Eventually, I'd attack the freighter, then the pirates. Then the sentinels.

Being on one the same. Not even sentinels there...i could have farmed for hours.

Want to play No Mans Sky

Do not want to sit in traffic

Solution: Bring laptop to the office and remote play after work until traffic dies down!

Same thing happened to me.

Thank you for this answer 🙃 Everytime I've played the game seems to not be connected to the servers

Huh, I have a distress signal on my current system, I went to where the signal was, there was noooothing.

After 30 minutes it's...still there..

Yea this is the only way for now and seems to be online dependent.

Haven't really been following this game but downloaded anyway...

I saw there's no hard classes, but apparently you can play the role of a pirate---is that viable or just PR hype and not exactly possible in practice? I wanna be a pirate for once, tired of always playing the good guy in games.
