I can't remember which episode had Frank in prison, but that one had some great scenes. I'd skip a lot of the Matt and Elektra stuff and just watch the Frank scenes.

This is probably Marvel's way of keeping Karen in the fold whilst Matt spends next year having adventures with The Defenders, considering we're not getting Daredevil S3 till 2018 at the absolute earliest.

It's probably an inevitability at this point...but it's really going to piss me off if we find out Karen's reaction to (DAREDEVIL S2 SPOILERS)

I went in with so much enthusiasm for this show. The Kilgrave thing was pretty neat. But God! The cat and mouse chase would never end.

Then they started intorducing Punisher-light, whose plot relevance made no sense.

Totally lost interest after a few episodes.

I think of my my biggest issues is that the girl who plays Jessica Jones is very dull in the role. 2 facial expressions to convey emotions.

I think the biggest problem was Killgrave was dragged on too long, the cop dude needed to get out and honestly Jessica works better as a serialized show. Just random mysteries that Jessica needs to solve while dealing with her own shitty life.

I love all the characters (bar the cop) in that show and I'd think it would work pretty well as a more dramatized "mystery of the week" type show. Like an adult scooby doo about rape, murder and other typical NYC stuff.

I don't think there's been any miscasts in the Netflix shows thus far. Marvel's been on-point with casting.

I hope Lightfoot carries over some of that crazy artistic flair when it comes to the blood and violence that we saw in Hannibal as well as all that gorgeous art style and cinematography.

I already know that Bernthal will deliver, but having Steve Lightfoot on this really makes me happy. Hannibal is an amazing show and I really wanna see how the exploration of crime and vengeance is realized in Punisher. Hannibal is a show that knows how to use violence right, effectively. I mean, that's a show that's essentially the waking nightmare of a traumatized person.

It isn't even finished with the writing. According to an interview with Vanity Fair in September, Rosenberg basically confirms she's about halfway done with the process. so it should be done writing before the end of the year and then film top of 2017 for a late 2017 or early 2018 release.

Jigsaw has been portrayed as serious baddie many times, even in the 80's, but they were always inconsistent with the character. Serious one book, then bumbling Punisher villain the next. They went the serious route also in recent books

lol, Jigsaw continuing to live for decades was always weird.

I'm glad they finally offed him. It's not like he was some kind of super clever genius. But I look forward to this new iteration.

Ennis always had that rule that no villain survives a second encounter with the Punisher.

I like the idea of Jigsaw being a former war buddy of Frank's. Since we know Frank was involved in some dark corrupt stuff in the Middle East it makes sense that Russo was there too. I really hope it doesn't take him until the end of the series to be scarred, mid point would be be better.
