Pokémon Sun & Moon |OT| Ultra Beasts and where to find them

Man the characters in here are so much better than the offensively annoying/bad characters found in X and Y. Hau and Lillie are so much more enjoyable and same for the villains.

Where is everyone catching Pichu? Pokedex shows they are in the first city, but I haven't found anything. Does time of day matter? Maybe I'll try Route 1.

Does the encounter rate feel higher to anyone else? Caves didn't really bother me much before, but right now they feel like a nightmare. Maybe it's my imagination though

I take it Pokemon you have caught in past games can't be transferred till January? If so I'll probably just wait until then to buy Moon. As I said before I tend to get bored of most recent Pokemon games but this one looks like a big shakeup (especially on the graphics front).

I've certainly noticed it as well, they're a bit too high for my liking.

I know people have said they aren't a fan of them because their mannerisms and how they talk but I think it's hillarious. They feel like a parody.
Everything is so over the top that it makes it enjoyable to see them. The past few teams are all the same except they have different outfits. I wanted them to go this crazy.

A quick word of warning: the game does not save after you beat it, and cutscenes drag on for a while. My battery died just after the events before I had a chance to save and I now have to go back for the final battle. Such a dumb design choice.

Beat my first trial. Feelings so far:

1. Where is the shaking grass sneak feature that was amazing.
2. Where are my gyms with stupid puzzles and trainers I loved that.
3. Dialogue should not be offered unless there is different responses.

I missed out on the steelbook pre-order on Amazon. So I tracked down a dual copy at a local Best Buy and went in to get it yesterday as the store opened. I have been playing since red/blue was released in high school and it was awesome to see a few of us in our mid 30's picking up the game.

That battle at Brooklet Hill was legit. I was really in a tight spot for majority of the battle. The game may not be outright challenging, but there are definitely some moments where things can get tough and this was one of them.

No wonder they all look like trash, searched here for more of his work and he did some in B/W plus the legendaries for X/Y.

Ohmura's been head of character design for a while, this refers to humans not Pokemon.

It's fairly easy to tell one his designs from the teeth and hair style.

Holy expensive clothes Batman!

The first city lures you in with cheap stuff, and then the second city just jacks the prices up. They're not quite Lumiose Couture expensive, but they cost a lot for this stage of the game. At least I'll have something to spend post-game money on.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I read that wrong then.

That's clearly post-game stuff, cities after that go back to cheap stuff.

Mall in first city also has clothes that are super expensive
