Pulled this from Reddit, so grain of salt and all (concerning Vader):

He is in the film briefly throughout but he becomes more prominent at the end. The team are running through the ship and there are no lights (very atmospheric, the cinematorgraphy and lighting is fantastic). Chirrut suddenly stops and is in pain, then says "he's here." Then we hear the breathing, none of the team know where it's coming from (it's very dark). It's like a horror scene, like nothing we've seen in a Star Wars film. The breathing gets louder and louder as Vader gets closer, this literally goes on for minutes, the tension was unbelievable. Eventually the space is illuminated by Vader igniting his lightsaber and the slaughter begins.

If this is true I'm gonna lose my shit when I watch this scene!!!

So much like Jason Vorhees or some other Horror Charachter that stalks it's prey, which i want soo badly, but judging by Pablos twitter it looks like some of the reddit spoilers are false also, either people misremembering or they never saw it to begin with, also still hearing no lightsabers which leads me to think this ones false

But i hope hope hope it's not false, i wanna see Vader Wreck fools.

Lots of Reddit fan fiction about 30 minutes of non-stop Vader carnage in Rogue One.

@ManaByte I find it amazing that with less than a week to go, people are still fabricating inside info.

That Vader scene isn't real, guys. Don't bother with the reddit spoiler thread.

Hype plummeted.

EDIT: Actually no. No claims of a 30 minute scene (all talk is the last 10 minutes), and him saying the Reddit spoiler thread is people constantly contradicting each other is not happening. They have said two scenes only. I'll keep my Vader hope alive.

That sounds a little...expected? But super cool. I'd seen elsewhere someone comparing it to the first Alien film so possibly correct. Someone else did a pastebin summary of the film but it seemed quite Verendus-y.

So is this a spoiler thread? I see two threads with the word spoiler in it. Just trying to exercise caution. I don't even want black bar temptation but I guess the best COA is to ignore threads until I see it.

I assumed this was the spoiler thread due to the "SPOILER" in the title. Apparently it's not.

A hint at what to expect from Star Wars Rebels in Rogue one. So ships are certainly the ships people have expected and likely will hear radio chatter or something.

STAR WARS REBELS co-creators @dave_filoni and @Kinberg. Watch (and listen!) closely for Rebels easter eggs in #RogueOne!

Alternate take on Vader:

"The main crew isn't there. It's normal rebel troopers. And the buildup isn't minutes it's seconds. Pretty similar otherwise though"

"He kills all he encounters..probably 8 total. Kills some with his sabers yes"

"He does not slaughter the team."

We need confirmation once the movie is out! I know it's the 14th and 15th for many countries.

This is fake too, Empire already confirmed there are no lightsabers in the movie.

Where's this from? Cause this was the rumor from before the reshoot.

I'm probably reading too much into it, but, I looked into the post history of the matty guy on that reddit forum and he has a history on t_d subreddit. So....with all the dumpstarwars stuff going on, I dunno, he might just be trolling for lulz. Especially if some of the things he's mentioned aren't lining up.

Apparently one of the guys on Reddit got verified for the spoilers. The Vader scene is rumored to be just random Rebels not the Rogue One crew.

I'm confused and dunno what to believe so I'm just sticking with the Vader stuff happening because it makes me happy.

I'd also like to say, for the no lightsaber bit...

The Hot Toys Rogue One Vader was never photographed with an ignited lightsaber in any of the promo shots for it. But guess what? The figure comes with one. Last figure to do that kind of surprise? HT Rey with Luke's saber.

I'm not saying it's happening. But the hidden nature of that accessory being included is eye opening.

• Chirrut Imwe, the blind warrior monk played by Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen, and K-2SO, the blunt-talking security droid played by Firefly star Alan Tudyk, steal the movie. Ironically, they both provide some of the movie’s funniest and most heart-tugging scenes.
I refuse to believe they did Donnie justice.

That'd be too good to be true.

Gots my seats reserved for wednesday night. Hype is through the fucking ROOF.
Even though it's too very different movies, Arrival put the bar wayyyy high for movie of the year for me, I just hope I'll leave the screening of SWRO as shooked.

I kinda felt that way after leaving Hacksaw Ridge yesterday. Everyone saying this is a Star Wars war film, it has a lot to live up to with the kind of battle sequences they create.

Another person seemed to have confirmed a lightsaber would be in it but I wouldn't fully trust that yet. He also explained how the characters died, how it began and end, A New Hope tie ins and said this movie is not as good as A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back(which is what I'm expecting) but is good fun so he gave it an 8/10.

Man I swear this whole ordeal about the lightsaber being used or not is the biggest mystery of all, oh well we'll officially know in a few days thankfully.

Yeah Hacksaw Ridge looks awesome too, I have yet to go see it but there's only one very late screening in my cinema so it's gonna be tough, but I really don't wanna miss that one on big screen.
Have you seen Arrival ? The cinematography in this movie is crazy good : the light, framing and color grading are god tier. I'm really hyped for RO because it seems to share a similar vibe.

Yeah saw Arrival opening night, loved it. I don't expect Rogue One to be that good considering Denis is on another level compared to Gareth Edwards, but say what you will about Godzilla, it had some amazing shots, especially the parachute scene.

Screenings seem to be happening now basically around the clock around the world, so, Twitter has been ripe with people saying they've seen it, but, not much more.

Oh wow, this is gonna be great, hope we get more confirmation on certain things soon.

@garywhitta I'm a veteran. I've been in a war zone, & this captured the feeling at times better than "realistic" war movies. Genuinely.

Only 3 days and 4 hours left to go...

3 people said Vader
does use his lightsaber
so I will believe it until it's confirmed by the masses something else happens, or if true.

I have PM'd 2 separate people and they both confirm he does. So either these people all got together and created this big lie, or it is fact.

Ha, really? If more people are saying it's true then it's most likely true. 1 guy said he doesn't lie about spoilers so I really hope it's true now to end this once and for all.

These are full Vader spoilers for what he does, all I have to say is...wow, just wow, I am seriously going to lose it when I see this. Read at your own risk.=p

First Vader scene is his introduction he awakes in the Bakta tank but one does not really see much, it is very bright and focused on one of the minions. Than bright light and a silhouette and then a HUGE Vader shadow behind the henchman, than finally Vader upfront who seems to move swiftly. He gets informed that Krennic wants an audience. A brief talk between him and Krennic in which he informs Vader of the success that is the built+tested Death Star (for which he takes credit and wants to move up in ranks) and than Krennic hackles Vader about that Tarkin took control over the DS from him. Vader puts him into place with an impressive force choke and says something among the lines he (Krennic) should keep his ambitions in check or they will be his end.

The second Vader scene is actually the final scene. It is excellent and was the most emotional one for me. It is basically the direct tie in to episode 4. Vader chases down the last rebel ships (that stayed behind for the data transfer). He enters the ship kills of all rebels there, which pretty much looks exactly like this, but with more rebels: http://imgur.com/N87lc7U?r

The first bit seems like the part of the trailer where he's walking through the steam/smoke to Krennic and then there's a separate still shot with his hand gesturing like a choke/grab. Seems like it'd be real. Or follows what's been released in a way.
