Elizabeth Shaw survived and took David's head with her. They took off in a ship and she's hoping to find answers to her questions.

I don't think anyone who I've talked to that has read the script (out of morbid curiosity) or heard what the plot is cares about it being a good film anymore. They want to see just how far this universe can be wrecked. What a shame. I don't think Scott gives a shit especially considering the "twist".

Don't really get what his problem is. But the Alien franchise has been stale for years, not a lot you can do with it.

You can do some good if you don't try to make it about explaining things.

Alien was a slasher flick.
Aliens was a zombie flick.

It doesn't have to be about the xenomorphs or space jockeys, just use human curiosity as a way to lure humans further into the unpredictable weirdness and fright of space. Xenomorphs and space jockeys are just a thread, Scott is making them jesus.
