I also think the bros actually died too, it is a Tabata's game after all.
Me too. They have to die, it's a fitting end for the game imho.

I just figured that out after searching. I took a break from the game after being dropped off and forgot so it seems like so much in game time went by between then and these comments as a result lol. It's how you leave the Titan area, Ardyn picks you up with an airship.

But was it a cutscene or a chapter load blurb that shows the airship ride? I should search for a video walkthrough to catch up...
I wonder if this game is going to get the "Final Mix" treatment where it just gets a patch that places content into random points in the game
Adamantoise beaten and game platted
this was THE. WORST. FIGHT. EVER!
what was S-E thinking putting that boss in the game!?!?!
might as well called it the clipping god.
took me roughly 40 minutes to beat...think heavens for that soup
my team did nothing....
wait which soup?
wait which soup?
I really can't understand or rather believe how bad FFXV's writing is, despite the world being so beautiful it is also incredibly lifeless and none of the quests help flesh it out. All of the side quests are fetch quests or monster hunts with barely any context to them. And, the merchants you encounter are just UI's with the same greeting. Pretty much any western RPG blows its writing out of the water.
Just take this simple scene from the Hearts of Stone Witcher 3 DLC:
https://youtu.be/BhAI1Pvyssk?t=17s
There is nothing fancy about this scene, you are simply talking to a type of merchant who, if you aid him, will craft enchantments for your weapons and armor. Thus, he could be compared to the character of Cid. Yet, notice how rich and alive his character seems, how wonderful his dialogue is. Nothing in his conversation is wasted, even your greeting to him explores his character. He regales you with tales of his homeland, thus providing the player some interesting lore and world building. He provides you with the context for his eventual quest. And, you understand why he ploys his specific trade. Again, he is a complete character and this is all done in one conversation.
Now, when you look at FFXV nothing like this is present in any side character or merchant, hell it's not even really present in the main characters either. FFXV's writing fails on every level from the grand plot to the tiny character interactions along the way.

there was someone in some other thread talking up how holly was an amazing female character and I couldn't help but roll my eyes
My back hurts, im scared of daemons, close some valves, climb some ladders
so dumb
The worldmap is honestly huge but felt small because of the lack of variety in locations :\
They most likely didn't. If they did, the game put absolutely no weight into it, and gave no clues outside of the short 2 seconds they appeared behind Noctis before he sacrificed himself. Noctis says "I leave it to you", probably to help rebuild the new world in his absence.
Buuuuuttt logically speaking though, it doesn't really make much sense for them to have died outside the citadel. Ignis, Prompto and Gladio have survived ten years in the (literal) darkest timeline at its most dangerous, all without Noctis to help them.
Wouldn't make sense for them to die outside the citadel fighting a few iron giants when you pass like 10 of them on the way to hammerhead from Galden. They're all certainly better fighters than Noctis at this point, just not as powerful.
One of the most terrifying monsters in the game is the super powered monster in front of the gate right before you face Ifrit. Isnt that a super Deadeye or something? That guy wrecked my team until I went Super Saiyan on him.
Its official name is Behemoth King. It's an ice-powered, winged version of Behemoth. And I agree, it's awesome.![]()
They made an in game old Regis just for that and the final attack. ugh
Also maybe DLCs? One can only hope. Regis was the best "bro" and we barely get to know him lol
The fact the ending is left to be up to us is a little silly, honestly.

A few Luna shots I took on PS4 Pro (High Detail), some cropped to focus more on her. Love her intricate hairstyle and the lacy shoulders on her dress. Also just noticed she has a crescent moon necklace:
What kills the immersion for me, and I'm sorry for potentially ruining it for others, is the fact that a large scale battle/terrorist attack happened right next door to the point where scary military bots blockade the roadways.... and we have tourists gushing away commenting about the meteor and such in that one city square.
If they could have added some dialog pertaining to that atack, it would have been perfect.
I've only heard folks talking about the meteor. There is, at the start of Chapter 2, there are four groups of NPCs (I think?) conveniently placed right around where Ignis parks the Regalia that you can interact to listen to them talking about it.
im screaming
Do we know how Ignis loses his vision?

Four NPC's in the whole chapter, let alone game, talking about one of the most important events in their own world. Wow. In the Witcher 3 the evidence of the war between the North and Nilfgaard is ever present from the world design, to the quest design, to the way NPC's talk. In fact, it's usually the chief concern of most NPCs. The same goes for Inquisition and the Fade Breach.
Finally managed to convince myself to pick up the post game content....
Adamontoise is lvl 99?! And I only got 12 out of 14 friends???
Shoulda taken the pic of the cup noodles with me
Just finished the story. Don't understand why so many people seem to dislike this game.
FUCKING HELL !!
Just beat adamantoise? I was level 53-55 it took GODDAMN AGES !!!!!
lol, when I asked, people told me to be around 65-70 to beat it in a descent timeframe, no wonder why it took long.
I'll be tackling it tonight, lvl 99 so it shouldn't be too hard, I assume.
I feel like the dungeon was a troll. So pointless and ridiculous.
Ohh,
And for what its worth I nearly spit out my beer.
The photo I chose at the end of the game was a picture of cindy? the blond mechanic with huge tits. It was a chest up shot with her boobs as the focal point.
Then fucking noctis and luna lovingly stare at on their wedding day. I was litterally laughing out loud.
prepare forJust dropping in to say this may be my favorite ending of a Final Fantasy game (maybe barring VII?). I need to find some discussions of it in this thread.
