My Switch plus games just shipped from Amazon (Prime)! I didn't upgrade shipping. Expected delivery is tomorrow. 😀 (Ottawa, originally March 8-10 expected)

Damn, ottawa here too. should've stuck with the zelda from amazon for the discount. But it was a risk I wasn't willing to take. But now BB hasn't shipped it yet I may be without the game.

Well this pleases me. But I still preordered a copy at Metrotown EB Games today, just to be safe.

My Neon Switch finally shipped! I'm so excited. Even if it doesn't come tomorrow, I should have enough games to keep me busy during the wait....

My 1-2 Switch, Zelda Switch, and Zelda WiiU are all "being shipping today" on Amazon. Now just for the Switch to arrive tomorrow :)

If Amazon can't get its act together and make sure copies of Zelda arrive tomorrow, I'm just going to go to a brick and mortar to grab a copy. I'll try my luck at an EB Games tomorrow and trade in a few things, even.

Just in case, Best Buy doesn't have any wii u copy, how are toys r us, wal-mart and eb games for refunds?

Any of them still put stickers on cases?

nothing yet...watching out on the best buy forum as well and nothing yet for them as well.

Update: Someone in Sask just got charged according to Best Buy forums

Oh good! So maybe 2:00 ish in people's local time is a deadline they're working with as they roll out shipments east to west.

I'm gonna keep telling myself that for another half hour, at least

Ugh, this shoppers deal is throwing a wrench in the gears.

I wonder if they'll have a decent amount of stock or not.

Anyone know if I was to buy it from there Friday and return and re-buy on Saturday, it would be okay? Or would they have significant issues with that?

I just wanted to take some time to send best wishes to OCDChewie, wherever he is, during this Switch launch. May you get the most unsullied and pristine controllers delivered to you

Considering the joycon issues, let's all just hope the Switch doesn't full on give him a heart attack.

It's Shoppers. They barely had Wii U stock a couple years into its life during sales. I remember going to 4 stores here in London before finding one on Boxing Day 2014.

You'd be the luckiest person on Earth to find a Switch at Shoppers on Saturday.

Ugh what the fuck BB hasn't even charged me yet. Although I see the authorization on PayPal and my CC (and it was accepted).

Anybody else used PayPal? I hope that's not what's screwing me over.

PayPal for my EB order. It was finally charged but hasn't shipped yet so I'm still waiting for that.

Switch and pro controller will be here tomorrow through Amazon! Too bad the games still say shipping today...hopefully I'm not stuck with a switch with no games for the weekend.

Amazon changed the shipping on my Pro Controller, Switch, Zelda Guide + Case... but I just got the shipping notice for my Link Archer amiibo, ffs.

I was charged for the first 4 items so hopefully they're not far behind. Website shows everything as "preparing to ship" still, but the Pro controller says "Shipping soon"

Yup, check your bank statements. My PayPal status was stuck on "authorization" but my bank passed the money through.

Aw Chewie, he was given a hard time in this thread :(

OCD isn't funny if you or someone you know suffers from it

Right now I'm just glad my Best Buy order went through considering my Amazon one is still 'preparing for shipment'. I thought I was crazy for pre-ordering two, one as a back up. Right now I'm glad I did.

All electronics purchased at Shoppers are final sale. No returns whatsoever, you deal with the manufacturer for any problems.

What's available for stock is based on location(s), if they receive any at all. I spoke to my local Shoppers where I bought my PS4 Pro from last night and the reps were still uncertain about inventory. I was told they didn't/wouldn't get any, to we don't know until Thursday evening when our stock arrives what will be available. Plus the new flyer doesn't go out officially until Saturday, the Switch comes out before the flyer advertisement. If there is inventory, who's to say someone won't go into the store on Friday (launch) day and ask ahead of the flyer.

Also, from what I know Shoppers which are 24 hours, don't allow the sale of electronics past a certain time due to theft issues they had on the east coast. At least, this is what was told to me by an in-store rep I spoke to. Otherwise, basically it's just hitting one up early Friday/Saturday morning and trying your luck. The best case out of this is you know Shoppers may carry more inventory down the road, if you're adamant about using or collecting optimum points. These 20x events happen quite frequently.

Edit: Sorry Risky, I read your post too quickly and didn't answer your question clearly enough. But generally speaking you won't be able to do what you're proposing due to their electronics return policy. If you're adamant perhaps speak to an in-store manager. I'll leave the rest of what I typed up there in case it's helpful to anyone else. Good luck though!
