Number of dungeons talk, don't click the spoiler if you don't want to know

I really wish they added at least two more dungeons, 6 dungeons would have been great for this game. 8 would have been perfection.

Eventide Island is awesome.

Eventide stuff:
I had a huge smile on my face when I cut the Hinox's necklace while it was sleeping.

So err, how do you charge the Joycons? Do you just stick them on the Switch, stick it in the dock and let it sleep by itself? How long does it take?

Yep. Not sure how long it takes but they've always been fully charged whenever I go back to play again.

Anyone know how to get a shooting star to fall or is it just random? Just wondering if it's weather specific. I need a fragment for some armour upgrades but I've yet to see one fall. :(

I love the fact that this game has almost all the major Hyrule locations of all the past games. I know a lot of the smaller locations that have the names of various characters throughout the series, as well as the names of places for non-Hyrule games, are likely nothing more than easter eggs. But the names of places from games such as Minish Cap, and things like Faron Woods and Lost Woods co-existing in the same game, makes this feel like it's the "definitive" version of Hyrule that all the past games used subsets of.

Just got to
Zora's Domain
. Whew that was kinda tough. I only had metal weapons and the threat of thunderstorms were too great. Had to run most of the way there.

The place is magnificent. Wow. Love meeting the NPCs there as well, especially that guy who
Link apparently used to spend time with 100 years ago. I sure hope Link remembers him soon.

I wonder what the DLC dungeon will be like? I am thinking they are going big for the holiday push.

If any reviewer gives any game a lower score due to bad fps I will just show them Zelda. Giving a game near perfect score without considering how often the frames drop is just biased.

From this point on giving games a lower scores due to inconsistent fps is not possible anymore.

This game is pretty much above some framedrops.

The scope and success on what it's set out to accomplish is so vast, it doesn't really matter

Oh another thing, how are people sharing the photos online? Are they linked to your Nintendo account? Couldn't find it last night.

Joycons are charging, time for some breakfast then a Sunday of exploring :D

After I got to the beginning of the
Divine Beast
fight at
Zora Domain
only to find out that
the beast itself is a dungeon.

This is the moment I realized that this is, without a doubt, the best Zelda ever made. How have they done it?

So i got a question for you guys, and might ask again when its not 2 in the morning, but did you guys find the spot where link and zelda first met in ocaina of time?, cause i randomly found it and had a huge rush of nostalgia, it has a broken down guardian that broke down a part of the wall

Or they felt that the hiccups weren't enough to knock down an exceptional game in just about every other aspect. I know it doesn't diminish my enjoyment one bit and I'm playing on Wii U.

I just realized that the game only seems to lag for me when it's docked.

Anyway, this game takes the "most deaths ever" award for a Zelda game

Ooh come on!

Drops are drops, no matter the game. And consodering how often they drop in Zelda its just lame.

I can't wait to know more about Hard mode...

Will they bring it up to Souls Zelda level?

What level of misery will they bring?

You can review your own games if you'd like. But I think reviewers are seeing the forest instead of the trees.

OK so I just got to the dungeon in
Zora's Domain
and the sequence before it made me feel like I was right in the middle of a traditional Zelda game. In a good way. So those touches are still present.

Also, for all the posts dedicated to the subject ITT, I find Zelda's voice acting to be perfectly fine. Exactly what I would've wanted from voice acting in a LOZ game. The only one that's stuck out to me is the king's, which is admittedly pretty bad.

The audio for the VA sounds oddly quiet or compressed and mixed really weird with the rest of the game's audio at times, it almost sounds like it's unfinished?

I don't know for you but im finding this game a fuckton harder than souls.game already lol... In souls you dont get oneshot by everything

Also, frame-drops occur on the tamest of situations, like when hunting for critters.

I haven't experience drops on a fight or something. It also has not affected a battle outcome.

I'm really hoping hard mode has some unique challenges that make me want to play the game again after i am done. (I am nowhere near done.)

Drops are drops but it depends on the game if they affect your enjoyment or not.

A 10/10 doesn't mean the reviewers are saying it's a perfect game but rather it's one of the most fun games they've ever played.

This game is quickly becoming my favorite Zelda of all time, and potentially favorite game of all time. It really is that good.

Question on dueling peaks:
The twin shrines there with the thing about one shrine being the answer to the other's question, I interpreted it as they have to be the same. I did that and no dice. What am I doing wrong here?

The default state of one is the solution to the other.

Don't think so. There can be bad drops yes, but the game can be otherwise good enough overall that they don't hamper the overall experience.

I wouldn't give Zelda a pass, the frame rate can be downright terrible at times. Despite that, most other aspects of the game are so good that it doesn't really matter.

There's a lot of things I don't like about this Zelda including frame rate, weapons switching/breaking, a complete lack of any statistics, the amount of items that all do the same damn thing...and I'm still here on the Plateau.

None of that though can take away much from the positive aspects of the game like the amazing world, the fantastically fun game play, hell even the climbing aspect deserves a heap of praise and is hands down the best I've ever experienced in a game.

So while I would agree any review that didn't even mention the frame rate I would say is probably biased. But to take away points for just that I think would be over the top.

you must reproduce what you see in shrine 1 into shrine 2
and then vice versa

basically take a pic of both of them at the start lol

You need to use the layout shown in shrine A in Shrine B and vice versa. I took a screenshot of both shrines helped a lot.

This shrine quest called Sign of the Shadow has me stumped. I'm
at the spot where I should be firing the arrow from, but "Pierce heaven's light to reveal the prize" is a clue I'm lost on.

Edit: D'oh. The moment I post about it, I realize what I had to do next.

That's a pretty weird thing to say imho

What'a a reliable way to get guardian swords and shields? I got a few from the Moderate and major tests of strength and they're the only things that can penetrate their armor, or even cut their legs

The game is sooo much better when you generally stick to the main roads and don't just climb around everything. I've realized that just because you can make your own crazy path through the world, it doesn't mean you should. There are some people out there who like that sort of thing, but the game is designed for those people and boring people like me.
