The music in the Hebra region is so good, reminds me a bit of Valek Mountain's music from Xenoblade. The subtle piano score really works in this region, just beautiful.

I saw a location on a high vantage point once, then when I returned to it because of the dust clouds I couldn't even find the damn place anymore.

Ain't even mad.

Soooooooo I just climbed Lanayru Mountain...

OH MY FUCKING GOOOOOD!

I just flew around a mountain fighting a dragon! That was the most incredible thing I've seen in a Zelda game, and it's optional! I just thought it was gonna be some ransom simple sidequest!

I love this game, I really really love this game!

man, this game continues to surprise and delight
I feel the same way. I can't put it down. The more I play, the more it makes me want to play even more. Question about the stones like Opal and such, can I just sell those off? I don't want to dump them if I found out later I could have used them to craft some cool shit.

Uh has anyone found eventide island yet

Holy shit

yeah, that was awesome. I didn't even finish it, got wrecked and put a stamp down so I'll come back later.

this fucking game man....the further I get the more it grows on me and I loved it pretty early on so I'm feeling pretty damn good now haha

I went there and didn't complete it. I don't think I was ready. Looking forward to going back though.
I don't think there's any getting ready (besides hearts) I realized what you have to do

Just get a save near the island and scout, if you die be sure to die next to a orb to mark it on your next life

I don't really like this game so far or I've been too busy for it.

I realize I'm basically not supposed to fight unless I have to.

I fought the Stone Talus and it took a few tries. I then found this robot in the southeast part of the starting map but didn't fight it since I think it will use all my resources.

I only did one shrine and can't really find the others. What am I looking for? I feel super lost in this game. (Actually went to donate blood so maybe I was out of it yesterday but still no idea today)

jesus,
lynel
was ridiculous. thankfully i had a 50 strength claymore and some food items that boosted max hearts. i don't think i would've beaten it otherwise

I went into Hyrule Castle with 4 hearts, and
beat both of them
. It took an hour for the first one. I'm really good at flurry rush now though. :)

There is so much to do... I love it. Glad there is a tracker for quests now.

Just wondering, do all weapons get destroyed in the end? I am assuming the master sword will not. Just finding it hard to use some of the coolest weapons I have found so far.

I think you can see all the shrines from the tower. set pins on them. the game opens up significantly once you get off the plateau.

Was playing zelda on switch for about an hour. Was zooming on the hills to find new shrines.
While zooming on obe i received an error.

Did someone received this error too?

I uploaded the pictures using my mobile

I completely didn't expect that you'd be able to
find the Master Sword out in the wilds. Was expecting to story gated. Is it breakable though?

I can't tell you guys how many times I've gotten hurt/died while taking pictures.

Because I have it locked in my brain that B is cancel, yet instead theres my dumb ass taking a selfie with whatever is trying to kill me. 😂

I talked to my friend too so the shrines are the glowing orange things far off in the distance? So I'm supposed to go off that far right? For some reason i thought everything was in that small part od the world map so i explored everything and found nothing. Got super confused.

I'm really trying to keep the hyperbole to a minimum, but 20+ hours in I can say that no game I've ever played as captured me like this one has.

Wow OK. So, if you plan on just free roaming and living off the land like me, while neglecting the story, I would strongly recommend you at least make it to the second village and upgrade the
sheikah slate. In its upgraded form, you can take pictures of materials and then tune the sensor to only search for that material.
Fucking amazing. This game.

Did anyone else get an impossible Ruta fight?
After 3 orbs, I couldn't get the 4th. After the ice sequence, I always ended up on a side where I broke both. This happened literally a dozen times.
After I reset, I managed to get a proper sequence though.

It actually doesn't matter what waterfall you go up, you can easily glide over to any of the targets, I had to do so to get the last target.

So despite being 30 hours into this

I still haven't figured something out.

How the hell do you tell how much durability something is at lmao?

I never know until I get the "IT'S ABOUT TO BREAK" warning.

Actually the world record for this game is around 1 hour and a half. You can go to ganon if you want and finish the game.

Re: help
i believe the king told you to find impa at kakariko village, try that. She will tell you to find someone else after that in another location. In both locations there are stores where you can buy armor.
Yea I know about both of them. However they are expensive. I got the blue tunic after recovering first memory, I donno if the gear you get through that is worth the effort right now. Guardians are annoying as shit and it's basically a reload for me if I ever get spotted by one unless I'm on a horse. How long until I can fight these assholes ?

I really think I need to stop playing and wait for my Pro controller.

The right joycon is just garbage for long play sessions with a game like this.

Also, STILL have my gyro aiming floating to the left. Anyone else? This is annoying me to all hell. Turned off motion aiming, but holding ZR and aiming with the piddly little joycon stick is terrible.

I have to be 25 or so hours in at this point and I've still basically done nothing. This game is GIGANTIC and so far all the content still feels fresh and creative. Even my favorite open world games lose their luster 5 or so hours in.

Love how natural and organic the world feels. That really goes a long way.

This is worth quoting for anyone who missed it. Absolutely. Go and do this before exploring too much, particularly because of the pictures/memories.

Yup.
I've been cataloging everything I can, even died a few time to snapshop all the enemies. I wonder if I can use the sensor to then steer clear of some of them cause damn...

i been through 2 dungeons with the startin gear and only stamina upgrades. It seems hard but its actually doable. I still cant fight the guardians but I may try soon.

The next place you could go is north of kakariko, there is a swamp with a bunch of shirines, the game will guide you from there.

Yep. This is a must. It's the only time I was annoyed by this game.

I asked this before but I need to know this for sure. When it comes to things like Sapphire and Ruby it's clear that this fetches you a high price. But when I see the description of Opal it says it contains the power of water. Sure I can't do anything with this other than for selling?

So what do you need to do that allows the Old Man to sleep in his bed at Old Man's hut?

I know you can do it and I thought you had to say or do something to him and I'm pretty sure you can do it before you leave the Grand Plateau.
